I surmised from your reaction to the multi-stune-astic discussion regarding beefcake that you had a delicate constitution regarding...er...mmm....matters of that kind.
If, however, you are now asserting that you can handle such discussions, I shall not restrain myself in the future.
I was thinking only of your feelings, NnB. *oozing earnestness*

More Dramamine.
Or, rum and pineapple juice.
Where's the "flight attendant" with the booze cart?

"I surmised from your reaction to the multi-stune-astic discussion regarding beefcake that you had a delicate constitution regarding...er...mmm....matters of that kind." If you ever get the chance to read my books, you will realize why your comment is ... so ... very ... funny.
I have a diametrically opposed set of personalities. Dr. Jekyll, the effete gentleman and bon vivant, writes delicate and sensitive poetry ...
... while lurking in the shadows, waiting to pounce on the unemployed keyboard, is Mr. Hyde, writer of ... *books*.

" ... I looked great from the waist up!" Well, I really wasn't going to say anything, but now you know why it took me so long to get my "space legs."
My feet kept stumbling over each other as if I couldn't see where I was walking.

I was pretending that I was following your advice about focusing on the beefcake, and that it ... didn't agree with me.

You are a master of subtlety, NnB.
I must confess that I often take the literal meaning of whatever anyone says. This is why I'm the designated straight man for our family jokes. *sigh*

We could speed up the process by figuring out how many words our posts are going to be, and then begin posting them in one word posts.
Twenty-seven posts to say what could have been said in one. Has an almost Dickensian feel, doesn't it?
Well, without the magnificent vocabulary and everything...
Okay. Forget it. I was just trying to help.....*sob*

I try to layer meanings together into a parfait of multiple entendres.
One can gloss over the surface and catch the obvious meaning, and assume that my conversation is ambling along at a pedestrian level.
Or look for the subleties which indicate that my mind is racing! (As usual.)
One of these days, I'm going to totally burn out my clutch.

"... begin posting them in one word posts ... " That would be confusing the destination for the journey.
One has to remember, we have been there, and done that.

"Would that be literally, metaphorically, or erotically?" I'll choose none of the above, thank you. I'm sure, like George Bernard Shaw, that eventually something will happen to me, but I don't dwell on it.
I'm having too much fun.

I don't know if you recognized it, but the word that in the post above was a link. If you click on it, you will be taken to the "last post" on the original Undead ZOT! Thread, and the glorious victory of Dead Corpse!
