I wouldn't mind passing on this one . Maybe it will blow out in Mexico.
Thanks,Tx.
Not good... ST---
Like I said earlier...we need rain in north Texas, but if it is a hurricane that brings it...forget it..
Gosh, I just don't want to see you guys hit like MiSS and LA.---
It is still early...it could swerve SW and hit Mexico instead...
Once it kicks out tonight, WFOR's live stream will kick back in at 4AM with their morning newscast. WSVN's morning news is set for 5 (though with the hurricane watch/warning, they may start at 4 as well).
I know one thing....from some of the pictures on Fox News awhile ago....it is a GOOD thing that Phillippe is not heading toward land...
from what I saw, that is a BIG storm!!!
Well besides some snacks and stuff I'm good to go from Emily. I would just have to take down that trampoline and swing set again though:'(
Local news here in Tampa Bay starts 5AM. Will be looking forward to hearing that report too.
Looks at the monster just east of the leewards islands in this url! Surfs up!

We do need rain pretty bad. Most of the leaves have fallen off my trees (and into the pool). Think that will spare them though. In the one two years ago, we had more tree damage than I'd ever witnessed from one storm. It followed a wet summer and the trees were very full. Not as much to catch the wind now. :)
OK, thanks for the explanation.
We pretty much stay that way too, just can't get my generator to run.
I know what you mean...we have a large Bald Cypress tree that loses its needles in late October usually...
my dog has been spreading them all over my house for a week...grrrrrrrr!
You might want to drop it off at a shop or get a new one if you can afford it and use it as a back up. We have two.
Yes, but what about MINGO...Ed Ames...? Now he was Indian but English and attended Oxford...remarkable for a minority group in the 1770's or so....darn good with that whip!
Yes, looks like it will be passing fairly near. Well, we are in the beginning of a 20 year cycle of frequent hurricane strikes, so I guess it's not unexpected.
And an on topic comment. We live in South Texas and tonight my little girl was looking at a map and asking what direction would have the least people so she could ask God to send the Hurricane there.... Actually, it's been about 30 years since the last big storm hit Corpus Christi so I expect we are due one....
Yep, between the dog and grandsons this weekend, seems like we have a carpet of leaves.LOL
It's rust in the fuel tank. Tried rattling today, but guess I didn't rattle enough. Sure was rough dumping that high dollar gasoline out too.
