The Dem playbook
The Hill newspaper gives us a peek at the Democratic playbook for the Roberts hearings. Below are the attack assignments for the Democratic members of the Committee:
Kennedy -- civil rights
Leahy -- Bybee torture memo
Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment
Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties
Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade
Feingold -- limits of executive powers
Schumer and Durbin have wisely refused to show their hand.

How about me, I need sympathy... I live in NY with Chucky...and Hillary, pray for us.
Just went back and saw it. Thanks so much!!
Roberts just basically said that if he doesn't answer questions about one case, they come back at him with one close to the first one.
Schumer: "Okay, let me ask you a little bit more.."
In other words, I lost that round, let's move on.
Oh, hypotheticals!
#####Schumer can't hang with Roberts.
Roberts knows it. Schumer knows it. Schumer knows Roberts knows it.#####
And it's killing Schumer because he knows everyone watching these hearings can see that he isn't remotely in Roberts' league.
Maybe because they try to use guilt as a weapon. They have little or no conscience, but understand most folks do. In their minds, the ends justify the means, whereas most conservatives strongly disagree.
I confess I have a regret. I regret that Bill Clinton ever occupied the Oval Office.
CSPAN 1 has it back on TV split screen.
It's all about (1) he's run out of any questions of value, (2) he loves the camera on him, (3) he's a pompous a$$ in the same mode as Feingold. And, he's also insufferable. And belligerent. And pushy.
Back to talking about the toads crossing the border
Back to the hapless toad.
Chuckie can't even keep his papers straight. LOL! The Dems "big gun" they saved for last is toast.
Oh Gawd not that !@#$%^&*() toad again?
I am watching it through streaming of what they are showing on C-Span 3 using the "stand alone viewer" option with Windows Media.
Levin is going off on wabcradio.
Now how about your neighbor here who has Dodd and Lieberman!
The toads are a WMD now ????
Chuckie is losing me
Roberts is not falling for Schumer's backdooring.
NO NOTES! Roberts is amazing.
