I hate to point this out, but as a convicted felon (three assaults in five years) I believe it is a five year felony for him to even be carrying I weapon. His CCW only covered the two specific handguns he owned in California as "protection from stalkers". Thus, he has no legal right to carry a firearm. Will the BATF please arrest this menace to society?

Don't let your hatred of his politics lead you astray of facts. The fact is Sean Penn has a concealed carry permit in CA. I believe you must show a knowledge of guns and gun safety to acquire such. Also I'm sure he has had occassion to hoot all kinds of guns (with blanks) during his acting career. With that said I agree with you about his integrity/loyalty/patriotism.

I wonder why he wasn't arrested for openly carrying that weapon in public??? A National Guard person should have disarmed him or shot him when he refused. Give that guy a medal if he did!
