Please forgive any errors.
Rush is about to discuss her remarks in the next segment. Wanted to add the ping.
[The following is just my 2 Cents]
Yesterday was no ordinary day. It was the fourth anniversary of 9-11-01. A day for reverence. A day to ponder infamy. A day to remember the victims families. And a day to honor America's heroes.
Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu made an outrageous remark on the fourth anniversary date of 9-11-01. I AX this question: did she insult 9-11-01 heroes on the fourth anniversary of 9-11-01?
Yesterday, Sunday, she said, "Mayor Nagin and most mayors in this country have a hard time getting their people to work on a sunny day, let alone getting them out of the city in front of a hurricane."
What an insult to government workers, the bulk of America's remaining unions, and one of the strongest bases of the democrat party. What an insult to all the heroic government workers in the city of New York, many of whom are [or were] 9-11 heroes.
I AX you: what do other senators think? Does Hillary agree with her, for example? Does Hillary think that the government workers in New York, for example, deserve that venomous insult? What about Chuckie Schumer? Does he agree? And Lousyburg from New Jersey, for that matter? AND SHOULD THE SENATE CONDEMN HER?
What an insult to the heroes of 9-11-01--- ON THE ANNIVERSARY!
Is it just me, or do others see the once fairly attractive Mary Landreau looking more, and more, like the Hidabeaste in appearance as she grows older and more liberal?
It isn't just you -- this is what abject hate and liberalism will do. You can't live your life hating, complaining and never seeing the good in anything 24/7 without it taking a toll, somewhere, somehow.
Is Mary Landreau calling her constituents "shiftless?"
I'm looking for a link to the interview. Can anyone help? Thanks.
Above, just a few posts, with a link to FoxNews source.

Sorry, but I can't find out. Which post number? All I'm seeing are transcripts. Thanks.
I misunderstood your request. Perhaps you are seeking ...

For some reason that video won't work for me. Odd, I watch video all the time on my computer. I've driven you crazy enough for one day, lol. Thanks for the assistance.
She and Mayor "not me" Nagin want OTHER counties (or parishes) should do what his own poeple won't do. Put their employees in the scopes of NO snipers and hooligans,
Hah! Typical liberals....
She did accuse them of misunderstanding her when she said she supported Miguel Estrada during her run-off election, but then supported the filibuster after she won.

So that means it is easier to get to work on a sunny day.
Sorry Ms Landrieu, you can't spin this one.
We FReepers take our show prep responsibilities seriously.
Outstanding post! I wonder if that helped start the thought process rolling on Laura Ingraham! And it was on the Anniversary Date to boot! I knew the left would push that out of their minds, just as that senator seemed to.
"More likely, it is reavealing about her own father's administration when he was mayor of NO."
Goes deeper than that. "Most mayors throughout this country."
You are correct that her father's admin. influenced her expectation level of workers-- throughout the country. And imagine her expectation level of staffers, of Federal workers, etc. Such a cynical expectation level poisons her, making her think that more layers of oversight are a must, rather than realizing the importance of better screening of job prospects, the need to be respected by workers, etc.
Actually, I may have a different perspective. I'm not to hot on the government herding people around like cattle through force of arms. People were warned. Amplify the warning? Sure. That's as far as I'd like to see the government go. If he told people to stay at home, that would be another matter. FRegards....

I understand what you mean. It's amazing to see your thoughts echoed, and always mystifying, wondering if you helped to advance thought.
And of all the days to insult people who work for mayors across America!
You nailed it. Keep thinking. You're good at it. Most people just get ticked off without exactly knowing why most of the time. FRegards....
