It is not a heavy graphic. And I was on dial-up last year.

BTW, what I did when I had dialup was simply turned graphics off from loading in the browser.

It is a puzzle. I just went to UW. There is still a low probability of Florida and the Gulf Coast. It's way above that area so they must have some concern that it could loop. Yall, on the East coast, keep your guard up.

That's fine. I still like seeing the graphic when I hit the thread. She posted it herself later in the thread.

I can tell you as someone that went thru the middle of two major hurricanes last year, and another one that blew right by us, that when you are running around getting things ready, it was nice to hit the hurricane thread and see that graphic and not have to chase links.

Well sure. I didn't think about him because I never watch CNN. Shep andGeraldo acted like hysterical high school girls and reported a lot of misinformation.

Tonight Geraldo decided that this was an opportune time to interview Al Sharpton on whether or not there was a racial component to the disaster. Al Sharpton would find a racial component in a grade school Christmas program. I turned the TV off.

If reporters can't report the news without acting like weeping girie-men, I would rather not hear the report.

It will loop because of an over-riding high. As I understand it, if that upper level high gets real strong, however, it will eventually loop it so strongly that it will pull it out to sea. We'll "sea".

;-)

Some folks may not be as browser savvy as you are.

What is so difficult about opening up the link in another window?

Not everyone on these threads is in the path of every storm, but are interested for various reasons anyway. NN has the threads down practically to a science and the majority of us are very thankful for how she does them.

And that is the last I will comment upon this subject.

Like I said....

It is not a big graphic. She posted it herself.

The main reason for these threads are for people in the path of the hurricane. Hence the limit on graphics (which I agree is a good thing).

For goodness sakes, man - quit your whining. You don't have anything positive to say, just gripe and gripe some more. Then you don't even say the magic word. What good are you anyway?

What the heck are you talking about whining? I made a request. People posted and I posted back. Magic word? You mean Please? Ok.. Pretty Please.

All I asked was that you post the graphic at the start of the thread like they used to before you started doing the threads. That's not whining.

0z models continued trending east. I think she's going to end up missing, or just brushing the outer banks.

Eight posts harping about a graphic qualifies as whining in my book. Most FReepers simply send FReepmail to identify additional info for the next thread. You seem to be argumentative on most threads.

The main reason for these threads are for people in the path of the hurricane.

No kidding...........I happen to possibly be one of them right now.

A bunch of us busted our butts on these threads last year when it was you, including people in the paths a well, so please don't lecture me about how these threads should be run.

Can you do it any better?

They do. :)

Ophelia has been tricky... Let's hope she was just a niusance that we won't have to deal with. We are on our way down from the peak now!
