I didn't use typical Leftist vocabulary, but I was referring to Freeman's narration of Kerry's (Kerry even went out of his way to vote to kill children who survive abortions) promotional video at the DNC. Many people don't make the connection, but he, as well as every other person who supports men like Kerry are facilitating legal murder.

I think it's funny that we were told the folks "couldn't" evacuate from Nawlins. They have no vehicles, nowhere to go, etc. And how dare you rich white republicans not understand this!

Now they're being asked to leave various places.. with transportation, destination and food/water covered. And they still refuse to go.

LOL that's no excuse! I've had 6 in the last 8 years and I only weigh 120!

As Groucho once said:

"I like a good cigar....but I take it out once in a while".

:o)

We've got some evacuees here who won't leave. They had families come to get them and they don't want to go.

They are also complaining that there's nothing to do, why couldn't they have been put somewhere where there is something to do.

They are at a 4-H camp. In the woods (cabins). In central GA. But hey! They've got fishing poles!

I've watched it several times...that says a lot, because usually, once I've seen a movie, that's pretty much it...maybe twice is my limit...but for me to be willing to watch a movie several times....I really have to like it.

Thanks for the suggestion....there's nothing I hate more than renting a movie because the cover looks good, and then it's terrible acting or stupid comedy....I am always willing to spend my money on someone's recommendation.

I know what you mean. I've watched that one several times too........another one I've seen a zillion times and still love is "The Shawshank Redemption"....I know, I know, Tim Robbins is a dork, but he's darn good in that film, and I adore Morgan Freeman.
