Prayers continuing here for baby Alex and his parents.
Thank you for keeping us updated; A special thank you for the pictures, they are precious.
Great! Prayer bump.
Good news all around! Praise God!
God, be glorified in Alex, this "warrior" and "helper of mankind"! Be pleased, O Lord Our God, to build him up strong and arrow-like in the quiver of his Father. Amen.
"Alex had a double Aortic Arch repair today.First they went into his heart from the left side of the body. They then cut out the bad part and spliced the two ends of the artery together.Second, they split his chest and exposed the top of the heart.Using the piece that they cut out in the first incision they split open the artery and grafted in a piece.By using his own body parts, his artery will grow with him and he should not have any problems in the future.
His feet, fingers and lips are pink now, not blue.
Which thrills Momma and me very much.He is responding very well to the 19 medications that he is on.The drainage tubes are all the right colors and consistencies.Hopefully in two or three days he will be moved out of ICU. "

Oh thank you God!!!

Thank You, Lord, for answered prayer.
What an ordeal for a newborn! Continued prayers.
Wonderful news! Thank you for the update.
All the Glory to God!
Another lil one saved for a future mission.
Not to mention the lives Alex is touching now.
Thanks be to God for the Mum and Dad for advocating the best care and acting upon Alexs' best care plan.
Thanks be to the Lord for the Drs. and Nurses who are so artfully skilled.
Regarding Post 90.
You forgot the "choke and lump in the throat" warning M0sby.
Man Mom and Dads facial expressions in the first few pics really conveyed the intensity of Alexs' health status.
Can't wait for the Post Post Post open heart surgery family pics.
He is a chesty lil guy, as if he was ready to get the big trauma of repair done. Now he needs the infamous Dog stuffy when he has healed up enough.
Nice looking family. Sorry for all the sadness prior and Praying for Alexs' upbeat recovery.
