"They worked him over pretty good," said Denver Police Detective Virginia Lopez. "The passengers did what they had to do." Outstanding!
To: Cagey
"Lopez said police have no plans to charge passengers who subdued Tervort with any crimes. "
They should be given medals. Maybe one with an airplane, duct tape and a flag on the front.

Sometime we come across universal truths...and you just came up with one...
I needed that giggle.
Must be a retrosexual in the room.

Hey, that picture looks like it could have been taken in my neighborhood on any given Sunday morning (after all the "gentle people's" spoiled brats get liquored up and drive around bashing in everybody else's mailbox with a baseball bat! We had to get our mailbox encased in a brick and stone pillar. If they try to bash it with a baseball bat, their hands are going to be in a world of hurt!

If it doesn't move, and should, use WD40. I prefer
the oil that creeps.

Weird!
He had said, "Ladies and gentleman, I have an announcement to make. My name is Jason," according to witnesses.
When flight attendant Sarah Dinkelman tried to get him to sit down, he allegedly pushed and slapped her, saying, "I'm a man," according to the arrest affidavit.

I think this is why we won't see terrorist attempt another plane hijacking any time soon.
The passengers know darn well that the "sit still and don't make the terrorists mad" approach went out the window on 9/11. They'll do what they have to do in order to prevent anyone from interfering with the aircraft.
So who brought the duct tape to the party? Is that normal airline stock?
