Anybody just see this lady in New Orleans SHUT DOWN CNN blabbermouth Soledad O'Brien? It was awesome! The lady (whose name I forgot) said her ancestors settled in New Orleans and she's lived there all her life. She said her neighborhood was high and dry, she had running water, and she wasn't going to evacuate. She blasted CNN and the MSM for showing only shots of flooded New Orleans, saying they weren't showing the parts of the city that were dry and inhabitable. Then she blasted the NO city government for failing to implement its own evacuation plan and evacuate inner-city people using buses. O'Brien tried a few times to rebut the "New Orleans lady," but the lady SHUT HER DOWN and seized control of the interview. In the end, O'Brien agreed to take her TV crew to the lady's neighborhood and show that. This was GREAT!!!

A Vice Admiral for the Coast Guard working on rescue in New Orleans "shut down" Katie Couric this morning also. She asked him which part of government should receive an "F" for their response to this disaster. The Vice Admiral responded instantly with "[The hurricane] is the one that should receive a "F". He then spoke about the positive aspects of the search and rescue teams.
I thought, "Yeeessss"!

Southern ladies are not to be triffled with, and they don't suffer fools lightly.

On and in
all MSM; the first commandment is: "If it bleeds, it leads!"
They cannot garner circulation, rating points, or advertising sales "selling" good news.
No..they can't.

On last night's "Nightline," Koppel found a man taking care of his property (looked terrific, no water, beautiful lawn), so Koppel asked him why he wouldn't evacuate. He said, "I'm a Republican. I'm not a Democrat with my hand out" (and he opened his hand to illustrate). Sounds like a FReeper too!

The tinfoil hat crowd has one last hope to pin this on Bush...Cheney coming to the Gulf to find out why the weather bomb intended for the Hugo Chavez compound in Venezuela accidently blew back over us.

I understood you with the verbiage. And I agree and am wondering what the game is here too.
The inaccurate reporting is really making independent relief groups and help run around in circles. People are trying to get down there and help. More accurate info on resources available and needed would be a BIG help.

Soledad O'Brien? Another bobblehead that speaks. She's as dumb as a bag of cement. Dumb but useful. The cement, that is.

When I lived there in 1975(worked for Exxon) all the engineers lived on the "West Bank". Evidently with good reason.

And the sheeple lap it up. Luckily, the only ones listening to them are the drones they already owned.

>Even worse they didn't use Amtrak to evacuate. Blanco is a joke.<
Far be it from me to come to Blank-Oh's aid (yecch!), but the train tracks run right through the levees. They had to stop the trains to get the flood gates in place.

Ice tea s'all. Good. That means the water will be boiled first? Isn't the water supposed to be boiled for 20 minutes or so? And where does the ice come from? We are told to dunp our ice when a water main breaks...
