Far be it from me to come to Blank-Oh's aid (yecch!), but the train tracks run right through the levees. They had to stop the trains to get the flood gates in place.

They could have directed folks to the closest point the trains could reach once the flood gates were in place and loaded them there, instead of filling up the Superdome with people who would get no supplies.

Were the flood gates up on Friday? If she started the evacuation on early friday when the models were pointing to new orleans couldn't she have used the trains.
