I am in Japan on business and have been forced to watch CNN International. Thy had the Mayor on live when he said this about Blanco. It was a very damning interview of Blanco. Funny CNN International has not shown that clip again since (however, it was aired once).

I wonder if Blanco was receiving orders on what to do from the DNC?

"I wonder what the DUmmies think of Mayor Nagin now?"
They will probably hold him up as the hero and start pushing for him to run for a higher office.

I'm still chuckling to myself when I recall how Nagin was saying on TV/Radio that if anything happens to him then its the CIA because he criticized the Feds/Bush.

I was appalled by Governor Bianco's comments during the crisis. She was as weepy as any man-on-the-street running from the hurricane. She inspired no hope whatsoever. An otiose and pathetic leader.

Would everyone please, please, please stop picking on Governor Blanco? She is clearly very upset and has been crying on television for days. Isn't that enough? /sarc

She blubbered. I heard mention her sorrow at the loss of the Garden District. She was on Larry King for an hour or so. She demanded apologies. She blubbered some more. That's a lot of work.

And whose fault is it that so many people needed to be rescued?

Oh come on' this was ALL POLITICAL...high powerful national dems were giving her instructions on how, what, when and where. This was all to make W look like an ineffective...leader...they're trying to make the GOP look like chit...and get their power back...

You're so right, but the liberal media doesn't give a rip about the truth--- particularly when it implicates Democrats and liberalism.

Something tells me you are not going to see this quote in the MSM come tomorrow.Granted it is not the MSM, but GoGov.com has it top of the fold.

um.........I don't see the headline quote in the body of the article...
If anything, it should read "Pres. Bush: "Gov. Blanco Delayed Rescue""

What we have here is your typical blame tripod. Nagin knows local government acted terribly and that he will not be able to deflect blame onto the feds forever. So he is making a deal - he aligns with Our President (who did nothing wrong) and they hang that hack Bianco out to dry. Bush gets an ally to help his image(he does not really need one in truth, but the MSM is out for his blood)and Nagin survives for a while at least.

Nagin was a Republican once I believe, and I don't think he and Blanco ever got along. I would think the DUmmies will support Blanco more than Nagin, and especially if Nagin said what he did about Blanco, they'll turn on him.

Well, he's starting to get it half right - but he still needs to accept responsbility for his own lack of action as well.
