How could Gov. Bill Clinton pardon someone in 1990 who was "indicted by the feds"? A governor cannot pardon someone who is convicted of a federal crime. Only the President can do this. Maybe Bill Clinton pardoned him sometime between 1/20/93 and 1/20/01 when he was President. Did the feds drop the indictment and he was later convicted of a state crime? You might want to straighten these facts out because, left as it is, it tends to undermine the balance of your argument.

You're right. This is my fault. I didn't submit everything concerning the pardon.

Lasater was paroled after a year. Clinton pardoned him with a full state pardon in 1990.
