Former presidents, Bush and Clinton gave a news conference today. Towards the end, as Bush and Clinton were walking off the stage, at about 10:20 am EST, I heard a female reporter shout a last question that went "how do you respond to rumors that the levees were intentionally opened ?"
Q: "how do you respond to rumors that the levees were intentionally opened ?"
A: "I don't think reporters should make up their own libelous rumours and then ask for responses from the person libeled."
That little "rumor" might improve things.
Someone must have been there to know who she is and let us know. I would just like to see her photo though to see if she looks as stupid and assinine as her question.
Yikes ! It really is all Bush's fault !
Maybe!
I believe it was the Hon. Ms. Jackson-Lee who pitched a public hissy fit about hurricanes not ever having "ghetto style" names.
Perhaps she would be happier if this last one had been named Kwanequa.
Lying infers that the person is aware of the truth and is deliberatly trying to cover it up.
DELUSIONAL, is when you wholeheartedly see, hear and believe things that are just NOT consistant with reality. I think many on the left are down-right delusional. (ie: symptomatic).
He's my soon-to-be husband. College is a different story. I've yet to meet someone that hated college. I don't know why that is. Yes it would be hard to become an engineer these days without a formal college education, though men like Ben Franklin, Elijah McCoy,etc. were mostly self taught.
That would take a while, but I'll give the Cliff's Notes version of it.
The CIA was running weapons down to Nicaragua in the '80s. We all remember the Iran-Contra affair, right?
Anyway, one of the transports for the weapons was based out of Mena, Arkansas. At the time, Bill Clinton was the governor of Arkansas. And he knew about the drug running. This fact came to light during Troopergate.
L.D. Brown was a former Arkansas State Trooper who had accompanied Dan Lasater on a trip to Nicaragua. Brown said he noticed duffel bags with kilo bricks of cocaine loaded on the C-123K and taken back to Mena. Brown asked Bill Clinton if the CIA was running drugs from South America to the States. In a rare burst of truthfulness, Clinton admitted that he did. He answered, "Oh, no. That's Lasater's deal."
Dan Lasater was a wealthy contributer to Bill Clinton in Arkansas. He was also known to be a drug-runner. He was indicted in 1986 by the feds and received a 39 month prison sentence. Gov. Clinton pardoned him in 1990.
So, to bottle the ends (and there is a heck of a lot more, like the Train Deaths case from 1987), the CIA was not running drugs. But someone close to the operations of the covert CIA operations in South America was, and used this as the cover. Bill Clinton was well aware of the federal investigations into drug running in his State. His State drug-czar's office was adjacent to the Clinton's office in the Capitol in Little Rock. He was fully aware of what was going on here.
Like I said, Maxine Waters, who I am by no means a fan of, was closer to the truth than she realized. She was very close. Like the Maha Rushie says, she swerved into the proximity of the truth.

Personally, I would prefer something along the lines of "I am become Death, destroyer of worlds."
I mean, isn't Hindu scripture the least bit multicultural?
Not yet (dayum!).
She's not the last you'll hear of this.
The media is full of moonbats.
What's your problem? Don't wanna get married right now? Are ya getting cold feets? :o)
My problem is that I DO want to get married, RIGHT NOW.
Muh feets is warm.
But that was not what the CIA was doing.

Hurricane Shakti, Hurricane Odin, Hurricane Thor...
It's amazing...all the ways we have (supposedly) tried to kill all the black people and no matter what we "do" they are still around. They are hard as hell to kill.\
Makes you wonder what else you can find in the inner cities of America that exist in the millions and is hard to kill?
(In case you are wondering, 98% of this post was sarcasm)
