On a happy note..I am celebrating something wonderful..My SEAMAN RECRUIT grandson just graduated from Great Lakes...His mom and dad are there and I am babysitting the cats and kittens.

GO NAVY!

Congratulations to your grandson! May he have a fulfiing career {or hitch} in the US Navy. It can turn out to be a great start in life. I graduated boot camp at Great Lakes in 1944 and it was good training

Congratulations Meg!! And I second that -- GO NAVY!! I was at Great Lakes watching my brother graduate June 10th. He is stationed at Groton, CT now. I was able to visit him a week ago and we had a very sweet time being together again. I really miss him.
Anyway, congratulations again...I feel like we're in the same NAVY family, LOL.
