Great analysis the big story out of all this should be that the Gov. of La. played politics with people stuck in attics dying.

But he was crying because the National Guard didn't rescue someone's mother who was stranded in a nursing home on Monday Geez -- you'd think mandatory evacuation would mean to at least clear out the nursing homes.
To: Shqipo
On the subject of evacuating people they have just shown a clip on FNC of a rescue worker trying to persuade someone to leave their house which is flooded on first floor they have no fresh food or water but they will not leave.
They think the flood waters will recede and they can carry on living in their houses what can anyone do with that problem. I suppose they will have to arrest people otherwise the health issues with the water etc. will escalate.

Early on there they were, Nagin and Blanco on TV. My guess: -- They've been ordered off the air by the professional Bush-bashers of Clintonista crime family.

Russert calling for resignations.
Start with his for the complete breakdown of the Dinosaur media journalistic responsibilities. Their reporting on this has not even earned an F. They win an I for Incompetent and Ignorant

You are so right. This administration doesn't realize that they're in a political arena. That's why Kerry is president.

To: Seattle Conservative
He also said that FEMA wouldn't allow water in I thought I saw something on one thread about Blanco interfering with/obstructing FEMA, but I don't recall the details.

Nah, he'll only do softball shows like Stephie's.
Their panel is always someone from the NYT, someone from the LAT, someone from a liberal thinktank, and they round it over with limp wristed psudo-conservative that makes weak points for the other 3 (+ host) to play off of.

So right. Trial balloons all. The Democrats are despirate to find something to help them, and not much has worked.

Honey, that is the way we talk down here in the South. Critize him for being a girly man and blubbering all over the place, but do not say anything about the way he talks.

Collins & Lieberman are already getting ready for an inquirey to find what 'went-wrong'.
The Dems REALLY do not want us digging why after all the Homeland Security money we have given the State of Louisiana and the City of NO to prepare for disasters why this mess happened.

Media blaming Bush but they are able to do this because the majority of the people in the UK do not realise the legal implications and how things work in the States regarding who is responsible for what.
We would expect the National Government to appoint a disaster minister from day one and take control but they do not point out to their audience how different that is in the States that the National Government cannot just wade straight in.

Start with his for the complete breakdown of the Dinosaur media journalistic responsibilities. Their reporting on this has not even earned an F. From the time the Cat 5 started heading toward New Orleans, the media was itching for a disaster story to cover. Well, they got it.
