The data above was collected before the death of Chief Justice Rehnquist. The shows may change to cover this. I couldn't find any schedule changes.
Do you or anyone have links to stories criticizing Bush for visiting Florida "too soon" after Hurricane Ivan?
It was about this time last year, around the time of the Debates.
I've Googled for hours and come up empty. Any help you could give me would be appreciated.
Tough morning for the Bush Bashers.
They gotta find some way to hammer Bush on response to Katrina and SCOTUS possibilities. The hosts are very capable of doing both though.
Good morning, Alas. What a day!
Thanaks again for your reliable efforts every Sunday.
You're right, with all that has happened in the last 72 hours, who knows who will want to grandstand?
This is gonna be reallll interesting.
I am a great admirer of Bobby JIndal, and had he been electe governor the the people of LA would today be in far better hands. But would someone plesase tell him to speak a little slower. His brain runs ahead of his ability to get the words out..
Good morning all
Here's the MSM line: Bush should have done more to persuade Rhenquist to retire sooner. Because he didn't, we no longer have enough airtime to bash him over Katrina.
Morning AB, thanks for the thread.
AB, as always, thank you for this thread. Today is going to be very interesting, to say the least. I hope everyone is ready. The next few months are going to get ugly.
MSM tried all its best to paint President Bush as lame duck. Looks like Mother Nature & God plan otherwise.
Shortly before midnight Friday, the Bush administration sent her a proposed legal memorandum asking her to request a federal takeover of the evacuation of New Orleans, a source within the state's emergency operations center said Saturday.
The administration sought unified control over all local police and state National Guard units reporting to the governor. Louisiana officials rejected the request after talks throughout the night, concerned that such a move would be comparable to a federal declaration of martial law.

It is unclear if the Friday mentioned is actually August 26th or September 2nd (with most leaning to the September 2 date).
Maybe backhoe can help direct you.
Hey, has anyone in the press asked Cindy Al Sheehan her opinion on the use of "rolling pins" in a looting/shooting spree after a natural disaster? Guess we need a follow up from her this AM and will probably get one.
You've got mail.
Good morning, snugs. We are certainly living in interesting times here in the States. We've seen our fellow Americans shooting at rescuers, people being raped in the Dome while it was being completely trashed, and New Orleans police officers looting in a Wal-Mart, among other things. Now comes the opportunity to change the wanton ways of our Supreme Court for many years to come. My oh my.
I don't know what they'll find to talk about.
