Anti Democrat Party Sarcasm Torpedo, ARMED. FIRE!! This means that Blanco is taking orders from the DNC to foment as much confusion and death by delay as possible, in order to try to hang this around Bush's neck.
The political levee has been breached. The truth is flooding in...that is all.
Not only for ratings but for a "PUlitzer".
FOX is really showing the progress being made this morning.
I am so proud of our men and women in uniform, who once again, are showing us the strength and compassion of the American people.
They are heroes of monstrous proportions. I'm moved to tears.
An employee of one of the local news stations gave a report of his getting stranded and out yesterday. One of the things he said a few times was he wasn't sure where the stories of no food & water were coming from. He said once he reached an evacuation point, everytime a helicopter landed, the first thing they did was kick out boxes and boxes of food & water. He pointed out that they had so much water that they were able to use some to clean up.
It may be localized situations.
They did a real disservice to those who were working their butts off by implying they did nothing to help people.
The general impression, as shown by how the rest of the media climbed on the bash Bush bandwagon, is that it was a failure of FEMA and G W Bush personally.
Cavuto just did a great show where the blame was most definitely be placed on the mayor and government of LA.
Trent Lott now on FOX...said this is no time to be whining and complaining..
A whole lot of people are rethinking how seriously they should take disaster drills about now...
Not to mention trying to turn this disaster into a conversation on racism.
I want to know why when the first pictures were coming out of the Houston Astrodome showing the people who were bused from the Superdome there were so many young (teens and 20's) black males? The reporters then showed all the elderly in wheel chairs and moms holding limp babies still suffering at the Superdome and telling us the government wasn't moving fast enough.
I saw one interviewer shove a microphone in the face of a obviously very healthy black male, mid 20's and one of the first to arrive at the Superdome, and ask him what he went through to get there.
So here's a question:
If this had been another town, all white, and the first evacuees being shown were young, white male skinheads while white elderly and babies were still suffering, don't you think the liberal reporting press would be pointing that out? Then why do they always give a pass and excuse the behavior of some black males?
Yes, this is about racism. The racism of the liberal elite which finds it in their best interest to continue this split in our culture by keeping blacks in these situations so they can be exploited for the benefit of the liberal elite.
It was heartening to see the images this morning of other black males who had stayed behind working furiously to unload the food and water off of the helicopters. You have the parts of black society who work hard, do the right thing, and are genuinely good people. They are always given short shrift by the liberal elites who are too busy giving victim status to blacks who are really the victimizers. When is this going to end?
Anyone save .wav files or similar of the transmissions?
We have to be able to DOCUMENT.
Prayers for ALL!
Because people talk, and she is too incompetent to follow their immediate orders and then the Follow-up orders that would be required to bury any DNC involvement. I saw her stupidly miss her own Presser to be on with LKL. She is not only incompetent she is clearly tone deaf. Her staff are either like her or she is not listening to sage advice.

Some simple truths that have been forgotten (or never learned) by reporters and some others:
1) things take time
2) not everybody can be first
Patience is a virtue....
Ouachita officials say no to thugs
"As the chief law enforcement officer in Ouachita Parish, Sheriff Richard Fewell on Friday declared that the parish could not and would not accept buses filled with hurricane evacuees who supposedly raped, robbed and looted in the New Orleans Superdome.
I dont want people who live here all the time to be the victims of the thugs coming out of New Orleans, Fewell said.
My concern is public safety, said Jones. Im the district attorney. I will deal with the aftermath of the problems facing the sheriff and police departments of this parish.

Anybody watching MSNBC...the reporter earlier said that when he interviews people in NO that are getting rescued they're not angry, just grateful.
Now I'm not country music fan so I don't know country stars, but who is the guy (first name Tim) who's singing the Christian song on the telethon. Song called "More Power to You" talks about Jesus, standing on His Word, etc.
Bet Richard Gere loved that, LOL!
Sad as that sounds it is good news.
I am sure some of our fellow FReepers did, they are much to smart not to document.
Can you say, Dan Rather.
"Woman on Fox has a sign: why did you leave us RAY NAGIN? Betcha CNN won't show anyone like this. But the people of NO may be poor--but they ain't all stupid!!
Saw that and I believe she started out reading the sign and mentioning his name - thought it was great!
One of the panel that's on Cavuto every week (Jim? - he wears the bow tie) is from the area and he went on to tell everyone that the flooding was the fault of the local politicians and about how they had spent the $$s for the levees, etc. on a casino, a private plane, and on and on - hope this continues to come out LOUD AND CLEAR!!
Tim McGraw- native of LA married to Faith Hill- native of Mississippi
"MSNBC and CNN are viciously making everything into an anti-Bush, anti-Bush-administration rant. It is absolute propaganda dreck, it is sickening. It is being lapped up by the viewers."
For our nation's survival and recovery it is imperative that the Red states get redder. Please everyone in Ohio and some of the other key battleground states keep working hard on the grassroot level to see that the liberal BS is debunked. Organize, organize, organize.
