I was thinking the same thing....it was at least yesterday, perhaps the day before.
Maybe this has been asked but the threads are almost humanly impossible to scan for this info: Does anyone know what has happened to cajungirl? Last I remember was the storm was starting to hit and she was being advised to get into an inner room to avoid flying glass. I can't recall seeing her post anything since then.
Precisely my point- they need to get them out- now.. These are not men who are equipped with what it takes to report this. I have a rule of thumb- if I find my attention is on the reporter of the story- rather than the STORY- I switch channels.
Real reporters- (don't ask me to name one offhand!) are in the background..they are a shadow..they present the facts in ways that are never self-promoting. I guess an example might be something on the Discovery Channel ..we become so engrossed in what we're learning FROM the reporter..but couldn't tell you anything about who THEY are at the end..
