Blame the Atlanta Journal & Constitution. They reported in this morning's edition (and picked up by Drudge) that the city only had a 10 day supply.

If the newspaper is reporting untruths, the angrey mob should attack it and burn it to the ground [/sarcasm]

I'd be shocked if the city even had a 10-day supply. That seems like an excessive inventory in this day and age of refined logistics and delivery networks.

What most people don't understand is that the largest supply of gasoline in the U.S. -- by a very wide margin -- is the combined fuel that is "stored" in the gas tanks of all our vehicles.
