My grandfather still hasn't heard from his nieces (my cousins) who are/were in a 7th floor apartment since yesterday morning. The three of them are older women, so I'm getting worried all over again.

I'm so very sorry.....I hope they are found safe and sound....your poor grandfather...oh..this is so so sad.

Prayers for your family members' safety. There is nothing worse than not knowing anything, followed closely being helpless to do anything about it. Hang in there.

Mike, I do hope all is well with your family. my prayer list as quadrupled the past day..keep us posted. But you well know that good or bad news might take weeks to reach us.

Well, as long as they are above the floodwaters, they are probably better off in those hi-rise apartments until the rescue/evac capacity increases. They should still have food, and, while not perfect, a better sanitary situation, more room, a place to lay down, and whatever first aid/medicine they have.

Sorry that ya'll are having to go through this stressful situation and lack of communication, plenty of prayers going out for you and them. Hang in there.
