Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I thought he seemed uncomfortable too. It was almost like he wasn't prepared.
Good point.
I agree with you. And what we have to do now is GET OUR PICTURES, GET OUR STORIES, GET OUR NEWS out to the common man. Folks, you have to copy the link, copy the pictures, e-mail them to friends and family. Let people know the news the MSM isn't telling them! We all get those e-mails that we have seen a hundred times. Let our NEWS be like those e-mails. We have to get the word out.
Hey, we were all newbies once. Delayed Welcome to FR.
Americans.
One of the John Ford/John Wayne "Cavalry" westerns, was called "She wore a Yellow Ribbon", it was made in 1949. (Cavalry wear yellow stripes on heir pants and at times have used other uniform accents in yellow.
I believe "around her neck she wore a yellow", may still be a popular Jodi in the (armored) Cavalry today. When I was in AFROTC we sand a modified version (our ribbon was red)
Confronts? I suppose it depends on one's bias unless someone was standing right there listening to what was being said. For all we know, the police officer was giving directions to the nearest restaurant. LOL
Your guess is as good as mine about Cindy's mother. The way she acts now it's like her mother never had a stroke. Very strange.
"Do you imagine Murdoch has anything to do with this?
"Could be just the reporter"
Come on folks, everyone and their Mother knew this was going down for the last 5 days. Fox chose either not to give it coverage for political reasons, or thought the true and the brave wouldn't show up.
I say boycott there A$$ for the next week to show them whom is paying the bills. No Fox Cable for me next week!
The drivers children singing the National Anthem brought tear to my eyes.
They were great.
Thanks Zip. It's fun being here...although even more addictive than when I was just a lurker. ; )
She died a little over a year ago.
Murdoch for some strange reason has decided to ally himself with Hitlery and her winged monkeys. It's hard to figure out. That's why his son decided to quit News Corp and the NY Post. His dad went lefto whacko.
Yup.
Does anyone know which Bob Hope movie that clip is from?
Great!
If you do, please reply!
I can't see your pictures anymore, TxBec. I keep refresing the page, but all I get is the red X.
