Rally Eve has arrived, and things are really looking good for the event in Crawford tomorrow. An awful lot of preparation has gone into trying to make this event very worthwhile and well run.
Some of us will be at the rally site by 9AM. If others are coming early, you are invited to come on by our rally site, and lend a hand in last minute preparations. Whatever time you come, use lots of sunscreen, bring a good supply of water, and wear a sun hat , The weather is predicted to be well over 100 degrees, with high humidity. There will be big fans set up to at least stir the air a bit, but be prepared to be hot. It is, after all, August in Texas.
Once again, here is where to find us: We will be at the Community Center, which is next to the Crawford High School football stadium, on East 4th Street. Freepers and friends who are already on site will be placing directional signs around Crawford, guiding folks to our site. Of course, there's always the possibility that these signs will be removed or destroyed by the other side--but we are trying to make it easy for everyone to find our event.
At this point, we have no idea how many will show up, of course. I've seen all sorts of estimates---but from experience, I know these estimates are always hugely overblown. However many show up is how many we will have is my best estimate--LOL!
We have an excellent lineup of speakers--most of whom are family of active duty service men and women in the Middle East now, and we have at least one man who will speak, who did at least one tour in Iraq himself, but who, sadly, buried his twin brother in June--the victim of a gun battle between US Forces and the terrorists.
A group of firemen will be cooking and serving Barbequed brisket and sausage on the grounds. We are asking for a freewill donation to cover the firemen's cost when you get your barbeque.
Angelwood has provided us with some of her wonderful Freeper buttons to pass around, and freeper W04 (I can't remember all of his name--will look it up and add it later), has sent some excellent, very large banners that we hope to be able to put across the front of the stage.
Kristinn has been in Crawford since Wednesday, making all the important arrangements for procurring all things necessary for putting on a rally of this magnitude. Doctor Raoul will once again be joining us.
Hope to meet and greet a whole lot of Freepers tomorrow!
EAGLES UP!
>>We will be several miles from them, Serpent. I have personally never bothered to go out to where they are.<<
I don't blame you a bit. But for video reasons, it would be interesting to contrast the unhinged lefties with normal Americans.
To me, the contrast is important. It makes for more dramatic video.
I would like to get their signs on video, radical chants, etc. Expose them for who they are, then get us on there, so people can see who we are, also.
If I come down there, could you give me directions on how to get to Camp Lefty?

But stay safe and stay calm. Let the DUmmies act like DUmmies!
Dios Te Bendiga, FReepers! I wanted to go SO BAD, but my husband didn't think he was allowed to. You all go with this family's prayers and well wishes! I can't wait to see pics and hear all about it!
I will be there early with my wife and 12 year old son to help set up. God Speed.
Actually, The Caravan people are handling press stuff--with the aid of Kristinn, so I'm sure it's well taken care of.
Do y'all have an estimate of how many are travelling with the Caravan--or how many are scheduled to show up in Crawford yet? I'm with you in spirit--work keeps me from being there bodily! *sigh*
Alert!
See first and second post. David Duke is supposed to do a radio show at 3p.m. today regarding Crawford. They're probably there already.

I can't give you directions, but many of our attendees will be able to give you that information. I know Kristinn will be able to tell you, as well as many others.
Thanks! I am pretty sure I'll be joining you.
Are you going to the KLIF thing downtown, tonight? I plan on being there as well.
Isn't KLIF a Dallas station?
I forgot, you're not a Dallasite!!!
I was with you at a Hillary freep here in Dallas, that's why the confusion.
:-)))
Never mind! See you tomorrow.

Yeppers, that is the one...I think the owners name is Johnson...but I'm not sure...
but, any and all that can visit his store and perhaps spend some money...that would be nice, I think..
I also read that a wounded Iraq war vet is going to be running some kind of stand...perhaps souvenirs or food or drinks, not sure...but he is from Ft. Hood..
Speaking of Ft. Hood...I heard today that the 4th ID out of FT. Hood, are going to be going back to Iraq soon.
Caravan to the rescue!!!
Ditto!
I really feel a resurgence of patriotism coming in this county, LUV... Americans had better wake up before it's too late!
