Rush has a little bit of shock jock in his repartee. It's likely one of the reasons his show is more succesful than anyone else's, particularly among those who may not be fully on the right.

Rush is still the best that there is.

He certainly has transformed talk radio, and can be very funny with his parodies.

The most overrated talk show host has got to be Sean Hannity. His show consists of promoting his TV show (40%), and telling us what will be on in the next hour (25%)

Hey, did ya hear he's got a book out?

He takes more vacations than President Bush

This is how the liberals set the agenda... They kept repeating this Bush = too many vacations nonsense to the point where others now repeat this.

I might add Quinn and Rose, and Glenn Beck to the positive list.

The word is "farding" not "farting". There is an off button on your radio. Use it when you are distressed.

Although recently Medved has gotten off on social rather than political issues.

The focus of Michael Medved's entire show is, and always has been, culture and it's impact on society.

Someone else FINALLY said it! Sean Hannity's show also tends to be quite boring as he has a number of pre-set rants that he goes on--you can't count on hearing anything new. He always has the same guests, it seems. He calls his show a "the most complete news and information available on your radio dial", but he doesn't give you half the news of Rush Limbaugh or Laura Ingraham. Quite frankly, I don't know how he has gotten as far as he has. That said, he seems like a nice guy, the kind of person you would love to talk to or have at your house, he just isn't qualified to do a three-hour radio show.

While Rush relates to his audience on most subjects, he disconnects when he talks about social security as an entitlement. He doesn't accept that the government has made a contract with taxpayers; whereby, in return for the payment of social security taxes, the government promised to provide monies for retirees.

And exactly which of the enumerated powers delegated to the federal government by the United States Constitution gives the federal government the power to contract with taxpayers to "to provide monies for retirees?"

I don't believe it is there. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Really?

I don't remember signing any contract with the government for retirement money.

They just take it out of my paycheck without asking me if I want it or not.

Normally such an arrangement is called "stealing", not a "contract."

Good points.

It is important to not forget that all these people are entertainers.

Entertainers are paid based on their ratings.

It helps to not take any of them too seriously.

Rush is the man! Without him there would not be ANY person that fights the left-wing anti-American fascist democrats. The mainstream media totally supports the terrorist and cheers bombs going off in Iraq. Without Rush there would not be a counter to the hate American mainstream media and the anti-American traitors in the US Senate.

Go Rush GO!
