My church leaves its door unlocked 24/7.

Of course, all the neighboring parisioners are armed to the teeth.

I don't know about all Lutheran churches, but I'm sure that all Evangelical Lutheran Churches in America would never have a "security barrier" such as a locked door as this would cause "extreme hardship" for any non members who might wish to do their thing on church property.

Maybe the Lutherans should put offer themselves us as "human shields" to stop the Pali terrorists if the Israelis tear down their wall. For example, they could ride buses and lunch at crowded in-door cafes.

The pronouncements on the ordination of gays and the blessing of same sex unions were luke warm at best.

You mean to tell me that the Cirque du Apostate in Orlando didn't mollify you? LOL! They do everything the pink mafia wants, while continuing to camouflage the ordaination issue; you'd think the remaining trads would figure out that trick, but it still apparently works on plenty of scripturally stunted ELCA Lutherans. If Mark Hanson had real courage, he'd admit that the homosexual and anti-Israel contingent owns the denomination, and any dissent is not going to be tolerated... but then Ole and Lena might not will the farm to the church if he 'fessed up.

The sharing has gone beyond bending over for the Episcopalians- the ELCA, UCC and (I believe) Methodists are now part of the same group wanting the "one world church" (remember: you can't spell "wiccan" without "WCC").

By no means do Lib 'mainline' Churches represent all Christians in this country.

The statement, called "Peace Not Walls: Stand for Justice in the Holy Land,"

Should be called "Dead Jews not Inconvenienced Arabs: Stand for Terrorism in the Holy Land"

The ELCA is deeply immersing itself into politics here, which is their absolute right--but not with the tax exemption they currently hold. Any Church which announces divestment against Israel and/or endorsement of the Palestinian Authority, should have their exemption stripped from them by the IRS.

The church has become a diseased parody of itself. It's shocking how quickly it's all come about.

Lutherans are good people...too good. They are too trusting have been overtaken by radical ( and often anti-Christian ) leftists. The Lutheran Social Services is basically an anti-American organization now, they take the money from the offering plate and use it to bring Muslims here.

How does it happen? Just one needs to get through the door and aspire to a position where he gets to do the hiring...it's all over at that point.

I'm not sure the Missouri Synod wants people who have been members in the ELCA and have picked up that contaminated doctrine of theirs. I would certainly insist that our congregation make them take a thorough course in genuine Lutheran doctrine.

I was confirmed in the Missouri Synod. When we moved, we started going to a local ELCA church because it was a lot closer. My son, though confirmed in the ELCA church we attend, went to a Lutheran School run by a Missouri Synod church. I guess we'd be OK, but I doubt I'd want to attend your church anyway...

Sorry Lutherans. This Catholic boy sides with the Jews. In fact, when they're done with their wall Id like them to help us build ours.

Given that Judaism is the root base of our Christian faith, and Mohammedism is a death cult heresy, I opt for the Israeli Jews any day of the week. They are doing what is necessary to survive in a sea of Arabs that drools at any chance available to kill Jews. More power to the Hebrews..they've got a lot to teach us about the Mohammedans, who naturally want to kill us too. Wake up world, we're in a new world war, and it's just started.

The statement, called "Peace Not Walls: Stand for Justice in the Holy Land,"

Peace, or a reasonable imitation thereof, will come about when the Israelis are on one side of the Israeli Wall and non-Israeli Palestinians are on the other of the Israeli Wall..............interrupted occasionally by a Palestinian rocket attack and the ensuing massive retaliatory strike by the Israeli Air Force.
