The Heart of Texas Chapter of FreeRepublic.com is holding a rally in Crawford, Texas today to show America's support for our troops, President Bush and the war on terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world.
The rally will be held at noon at the Crawford Civic Center at 1000 4th Street.
Freepers are coming from near and far to join the H.O.T. Chapter in Crawford. If you live within four hours drive of Crawford, it's not too late to hit the road and get on down there.
Folks in attendance will be calling in to me, Brad's Gramma and Jeff Head with live updates from the scene. I am told that cellphone coverage in Crawford is spotty. However, it may have gotten better of late.
We'll see.
Hat's off to Basil, Doctor Raoul, The Sarce and 2ndAmendmentMama (and anyone else) who've been scrambling the past two days to make this happen. Good luck!
For we cable challenged...will you tell us what was said?
Please?
I love you all. :-)
Thank you to Freepers and Mike Gallagher, and any other groups that put this together. Thanks to the people that showed up there and those that relayed it to this thread all day. You're irreplaceable.
If the Left keeps this up what they are going to do is ending up spurring what happened before. Pro-Troops/Pro C-I-C rallies across the nation. I showed up every weekend in those protests in my own home town, and I'm getting to the point where I'm going to start doing so again. I'm damn tired of the America bash, troop bash, President bash trying to defeat our own country from within.
Seeing everyone on the coverage of FOX lined up, on the other hand, fills me with pride. And just imagine what our troops overseas watching FOX thought when they see this. Great morale booster.
I thought so. lol
Oh so beautiful...a debt of gratitude to you all.
If Osama Cindy and the Osamaphiles come to DC I will be sure to drive down.
VERY good!!!!
THANK YOU!!!!
Because this is a FREE country. One is FREE to be an a$$ whole if one so chooses in America. It's magical.
WAAAAAAAAAAY TO GO!!! Thanks so much for the screen captures!
She didn't "turn that grief" to anger etc. She has been an anti America, anti war, anti GOP for years and is actually enjoying her 15 minutes of fame even though it is at the expense of her heroic son.
Hi!
Thank you.
Hi.... bye....
see you next time around
Sheehan is on record saying that our country is run by murderers, and that NO war has been worth fighting, and that we don't deserve to be defended. She has implied our soldiers in Iraq are killing innocent people delibrately. She has advocated supporting the insurgents. She has lied about her son's re-enlistment in the military, and the circumstances around it. She has associated herself with anti-semites and communists. Her statements have been played on Al Jeezera to encourage more attacks on our soldiers.
This is not a mild mannered housewife blinded by grief over the loss of her son. This woman has an agenda. I am outraged that the media covers up what she advocates. It gives the public a false image of her and what her "protest" is really about.
I would be very careful about having a private meeting with her. She is very likely to distort/ lie about what was said. Have a camera present.
Yes, there has been a definite drift to the left these last few months. Hiring of Bill Press was particularly repugnant to me. I understand their 'fair and balanced' theme but there has definitely been a change.
Money quote. "And as for Cindy Sheehan herself, somebody close to her needs to put an arm around her, get her a Xanax and a cup of hot cocoa, and get her to sit the */&* down for a few minutes. The womans freakin out."
I cannot get the link to work, but copy and paste works great. Sorry.
Take a hike, troll.

Just a test...
