Local (Birmingham) Fox news report states that BHT is "fired up" by all the hometown support she's getting, Jug says she's deriving great strength from it. Report states that she's determined to get back to Aruba, "perhaps as early as Tuesday" (!)
I just read on Greta's blog that they're both going back tomorrow.
I thought she would be back soon.

Tim Miller's interview last night about their attempt to search on PvdS property was interesting. He said PvdS was sweating [again] shaking and extrememly upset over the thought of them coming on his property. He didn't let them in so they searched next door and around the perimeter.
It's amazing to me that they can't get a search warrant again. [the first search was only allowed in certain spots, not the entire property] There appears to be more than enough probable cause to get one.
Thanks again to you for keeping this thread going.
I still continue to pray that Natalee can reach out somehow to let her family know where she is.
Rippersnapper was someone sent her to disrupt this thread, not by flame wars, but by dividing everyone. His method was to "befriend" someone then get them to go off topic, then he would keep making comments or asking questions about off topic stuff. Then he would "get confused" and ask for someone to explain everything again. Remember when he was posting passages from the dictionary?

Anyone watching Dan Abrams. Kaidan and Mickenzie, the 12 year old girl that fought her abductor, who eventually released her unharmed physically. Both her and her brother are too cute.
If the ALE does not provide a search warrant for the VDSs property or a good explanation that will speak volumes.
Sorry, Malichi. It wasn't poor stlnative's fault. It was mine . . . I kept asking her questions about her cistern, because I had never used one or seen one in use. Sorry, I just got really curious about it. And she was so very gracious about answering my inquiries . . . She was being very sweet to me.

Dave Holloway was out at the landfill today. The stench is unbelievable and the dust, it is very difficult working conditions. We try to cover our mouths and eyes.
They are looking for Natalee. They have agreed Dave will leave if they find anything. An area the size of two football fields that we will be searching tomorrow.
Dave spoke to the witness at length. I can't answer to his credibility. He feels like something's there and we would be remiss not looking.
He indicated he called the police early on and kept calling and calling and calling. I understand the FBI finally went out and looked around but you have to understand the conditions are horrible out there, winds blowing 25 to 30 mph and dust blowing around.
I learned a lot from cistern posts. At least if they ever go in there to search I'll have a good idea of what they are really searching.
How many bodies did John Wayne Gacy have buried in the crawl space in his house?
Heck, I keep expecting to see Paulus come out in a hooded black robe wearing a pentagram or something.

Another Van der Sloot interview, landfill search expected Tuesday

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (CNN) -- Aruban authorities investigating the disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway are looking for a pair of size-14 tennis shoes that suspect Joran van der Sloot might have lost, a police official said.
"He says he might have lost a pair of sneakers on the beach the night Natalee disappeared," said lead police investigator Roy Tromp. "That's what he claims in one of his many statements."
Tromp said the 17-year-old suspect described the shoes as white and blue and brand new.
"He claimed he lost them in the area of Fisherman's Hut, but we [are] looking at other places, including the pond," he said.
The pond was drained last week after a witness said he had seen Van der Sloot and two other named suspects -- brothers Satish and Deepak Kalpoe -- nearby. Authorities said Saturday they found nothing in the pond.
Fisherman's Hut is an area of a beach near the Marriott and Holiday Inn hotels. Holloway was staying at the Holiday Inn.
She was last seen May 30 leaving a bar with Van der Sloot and the Kalpoes, all of whom live on the island. All three were arrested June 9, but a judge ordered the Kalpoes released on July 4.
PvdS needs to be conveyed to a safe location for interrogation. He has the answers.
