All Freepers in Michigan who can drive to Traverse City on Friday or Saturday should try to support the conservative challenge to the Michael Moore left wing film festival sponsored by the city on public land. Conservatives have their own film festival called the Traverse Bay Freedom Film Fest on Friday at the Park Palace Hotel and Saturday at Horizon Cinema 10. Moore lied to city officials and promised nonpolitical films. But his list includes many films with anti-free enterprise and anti-American themes. The conservative film festival will include "Michael Moore Hates America" and the 1954 Elia Kazan classic "On the Waterfront" with Marlon Brando and Karl Malden. Michigan military families and church groups are supporting the Freedom Film Fest. No charge for admission to films but they will pass the hat for donations to pay for renting the theater and film rights. See the web site at http://www.afrfilmfestival.com/fff.html Or call 231-271-1121 for a recording with more details. Please ask all conservatives in Michigan to support this challenge to Michael Moore who will be just a few blocks away on public land holding his festival.

Darn. I was hoping that "challenge" involved blockading the all-you-can-eat buffet line. ;-)

All we need to financially destroy a Michael Moore film festival is to make sure it has an open snack bar.

Like I said on another thread, Michael Moore is the biggest thing to come to Traverse City in a long time.
I'm worried that it may alter the Earth's rotation if we redistribute the Earth's mass that much.

Michigan Freepers, scramble for intercept! The target is large and slow, so we expect you to get many hits!
This message brought to you by FREEPNORAD. If anyone wants on or off this ping list, say so here or by freepmail.

Why is it that events like this NEVER take place within 50 miles of Lansing? I always miss out on all the fun. I could really go for a trip to TC, too. Wah!

He's on the part of the lake that you cut off. Just up a bit on the right from where the map is cut off. Torch Lake, absolutely beautiful. Too bad Michael Moore, and now Eminem are there to pollute it!

I'll be about 3 hours away...but no closer. Shame there is no ferry across northern Lake Huron :(
