On Hannity and Colmes, While discussing the requirements of a Supreme Court nominee, Ann just sarcastically noted that it was ok to kill a girl at Chappiquiddic. Colmes said that was a low blow and that comment was below her.

WHY??? WHAT is so darned SACRED about mentioning the truth???

Ann said, "Why..."

Colmes didn't answer, and the set was quiet.

Hannity and Reagan (another guest) should have spoken up.

This is another example of "The Emperor is NAKED!"

Bobby Baker scandal
During her tenure as Senator Smathers' secretary, Mary Jo shared an apartment flat with Nancy Carole Tyler, secretary to Bobby Baker, an aide to Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson. An emerging scandal involving Baker's corrupt activities prompted President John F. Kennedy to privately offer Senator George Smathers the second spot on the 1964 presidential ticket with plans to drop Johnson as his running mate. The roommates, Kopechne and Tyler, allegedly leaked the President's plans to the press. Some researchers have claimed a link between the Bobby Baker scandal and the 1963 JFK assassination. Tyler died mysteriously in a plane crash in May 1965. Kopechne went on to become secretary to Senator Robert F. Kennedy, until he was assassinated in June 1968 during his run for Presidency.

Jorge, Your bruising may heal from the few hundred posts I have read addressed to your defense of Kennedy but I doubt you understand how people like myself feel. Not only is Kennedy a coward and never legally held responsible for a young woman's death, he is one of the worst enemies that America has. When he trashes our President and us with lies and throws the term "moral authority" around - it really grates on me. He got a legal pass on the death of Mary Jo and he's evidently getting another pass on his treasonous (imo) remarks.

Yeah but if he had really tried to save her, she might well have lived. His failure to do so compounds his crime and murder is not a crime with a statute of limitation.
