Yeah but if he had really tried to save her, she might well have lived. His failure to do so compounds his crime and murder is not a crime with a statute of limitation. He's an immoral drunk and drug user to boot. Why not continue to hammer him? He hammers President Bush with gross personal attacks all the time.

This is true. And I bet there isn't a day when the thought of the possibilty he could have saved her, or that she could have lived for a while in an air pocket while he ran and hid...must torment him.
What an awful thing to live with.

But NOBODY has suggested he purposely drove that car into a canal with the intention of killing her, NOR did he KNOW that she could be saved and simply did whatever he had to, in order to make sure she died.

And he might have been totally smashed and unable to make sound decisions for all we know.

In any case I find people throwing this in his face repeatedly to be very meanspirited.

Kennedy is a loser. You don't have hammer him with Chappaquiddic. People know what he is about.

If people even believed HALF of his mindless attacks on President Bush, then Bush would have NEVER been re-elected.
