On Hannity and Colmes, While discussing the requirements of a Supreme Court nominee, Ann just sarcastically noted that it was ok to kill a girl at Chappiquiddic. Colmes said that was a low blow and that comment was below her.
WHY??? WHAT is so darned SACRED about mentioning the truth???
Ann said, "Why..."
Colmes didn't answer, and the set was quiet.
Hannity and Reagan (another guest) should have spoken up.
This is another example of "The Emperor is NAKED!"
I was in high school during JFK's term, and although at first I was pleased to see somebody who didn't look and act like grandpa in office, it soon became apparent that JFK and RFK were boys trying to do men's work.
From what I have read, the older brother Joseph had some leadership skills and would have made a competent president (maybe). But by the time we worked our way down to old fat drunk Teddy, the Kennedy line looks pretty lame.
none yet dam,
Please don't die! Here's a vid cap of the clip. It's 9MB, and I can't promise that I'll leave it up for too long (limited server space), so make a local copy if you want to replay it (do a "save as").
Poor girl! She must be hard-up marrying that ghoulish-looking Alan Colmes.
It was settled the next morning.
Have an accident like that today and expect to spend many years in prison. To say commenting on it is meansprited and hateful is IDIOTIC. If you weren't a long term poster I'd say you were on the wrong web site
Well, they both appear to be true statements. What's the problem?
Is it now..............Well tell ya what, sport. Sell that to Mary Jo and her family, then come talk to me.
One older brother died bravely during WWII, and two older brothers were assainated while running for political offices.
I wonder how Teddy feels knowing that he's the politician that wasn't worth assasinating?
Mark
Thanks for putting up that clip. Ann asked the question and Alan thought asking the question was somehow a low blow? Let's ask Mary Jo...oh thats right....she's DEAD! She suffocated in Ted Kennedy's car beneath the Chapaquiddick bridge while Teddy swam away trying to save his political ass. He should be removed from public office. If he had any decency in him he would resign. He is a discrace. Don't they have ANY standards in Massachusettes?
Thanks for the link.... I just saw it. It's pretty funny...
Yep.. drunk driving today that ends up in the death of someone, lands you in prison.

New site devoted to Ted. Warning! Do not visit while enjoying any kind of beverage.
Sorry, should be : http://www.fatboy.cc/
Everybody makes mistakes, bad mistakes sometimes. Kennedys worst mistake is donning the mantle of moralist while wearing the mark of a coward who did the wrong thing when nobody was watching.
His problem is everybody knows he did the wrong thing and he has never ackowledged it. Like you said Torie, until he rectifies that, he deserves what he gets.
Hannity can be a real pussy. And Reagan pretty much is one.
I thought Regan did speak up. He said agreed with Ann by saying that "He's (kennedy) in for good". About being a bad catholic but being accepted by the dems. In fact he laughed at the statement by Ann. What shouldn't have happened was the camera going full screen to Ann. I would rather they had left if on the split screen so we could see all of the reactions at the end.
Is English a second language to you?
And it's time for the rest of this country to make him face it, and to make the rest of his stinking party face it.
