"Did he or did he not kill a woman at Chappaquiddic" Ann Coulter
Fox News ^ | 27 JUL 05 | Self

On Hannity and Colmes, While discussing the requirements of a Supreme Court nominee, Ann just sarcastically noted that it was ok to kill a girl at Chappiquiddic. Colmes said that was a low blow and that comment was below her.

WHY??? WHAT is so darned SACRED about mentioning the truth???

Ann said, "Why..."

Colmes didn't answer, and the set was quiet.

Hannity and Reagan (another guest) should have spoken up.

This is another example of "The Emperor is NAKED!"

Jorge is not going to get the zot and he doesn't deserve it either. Jorge is a long time FReeper who's usually completely sane. For reasons unbeknownst to me, he has decided to take the high road on the swimmer's 40 miles of bad road. Pity, and rather pathetic.

HIGH ROAD? ROTFLMAO!

No offense, Onyx. I know you are a long-time FReeper too (I prayed for you when your husband fell through the glass door during your move)

But you have GOT to be kidding me on this?

Jorge's criticism is that we are focusing TOO MUCH on Chappaquiddick? (a PERSON'S LIFE?) rather than his SENATE VOTING RECORD?

What on earth happened to RIGHT AND WRONG in this world????

remind you of your meanspirited and unforgiving nature

You seem to have the inability to discern between forgiveness and approval. Did you kill someone and are now trolling to find 2nd generation forgiveness? Much less approval?

An evil man killed an innocent woman. Through at best negligence or at worst cold calculating self-importance.

Can I forward your address and real name to Mary Jo's family? I mean, since you are such a supporter of murder and all, I am sure they will appreciate your "forgiveness."

cake_crumb said: "WHAT are you talking about?"

Simple. I misread your attribution of what "trolls" say as your own opinion.

Sorry.

Chappaquiddic was what finally killed the old man (Joe Sr.). Broke his heart from what I remember reading.

As despicable as Ted and his generation is/was old Joe was 10 times worse. Joe Sr. was a steaming pile of excrement.

Was it an 'accident' when he begged his cousin to take the rap for him? Was it an accident when he didn't cll the police for twelve hours?

Hey GEORGE, are you aware there is no statue of limitations for murder, vehicular or any other type. Just because a Kennedy committed murder does not make him above the law and the repercussions of it. Kennedy probably would have spent about 10 years in jail due to drunk driving was not the mortal sin then as it is now.
Something else, GEORGE, did you know that Teddy (burp) Kennedy was always the black sheep in his family?? His father bailed his fat drunk ass out of so many problems even his father was disgusted with him.
One last thing, GEORGE, in my opinion, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones but in Teddy's way of life, he ran out of stones years ago and we should break every freaking piece of glass out of his mansion.
Oh yeah, GEORGE, if the truth hurts-----LEAVE!!!!!!

Trust me on this: Jorge is basking in all the attention. :)

Geez, I'd be in tears if I said something on FR and had 400 posts setting me straight! (I usually get the message after only one or two! heh)

His decision was to think of himself.

THAT is a Kennedy trait. In fact, it's likely a Kennedy gene.

He decided that his reputation and what was said in the press was more important than the life of a young girl.

He isn't the first Kennedy to put personal desires and ambitions above all else, even human life.

The Kopechnes probably hold your same opinion.

Didn't the Kopechnes run out of money a couple of years back? I seem to remember something about that...?

Drinking and driving then wrecking and killing someone is no accident. It's murder! My aunt was murdered by a drunk driver leaving behind 6 kids and a husband.

I don't disagree at all.

The 60's were a different time though. I myself went to bars that regularly offerd drinks in plastic cups, called 'drinks with wheels'. The legality of the act of driving off the bridge can be debated as to whether or not it was criminal in the legal sense.

What happend after that cannot, THAT was clearly criminal.

I'm really sorry about your Aunt. I'm sure it was a very difficult time for you uncle and cousins.

If justice had been properly served Senator Kennedy would have spent at least 5-7 years in jail for vehicular manslaughter, which would have permanently ended his political career. But somehow, thanks to a lot of weaseling and the Kennedy family influence Senator Kennedy avoided jail and continued his political career, though of course his chances at the Presidency came to an end.

To repeatedly attack and accuse him years on end over a tragic accident is cheap and low IMHO.

Oh, kind of like the libs going on and on, and lying about it, about Bush's service record? Or about his drinking problem which is long in the past? Ok for them but not for conservatives, is that the idea?

And for that we can all be thankful. Even Jorge.?.
