And Justice Ginsberg didn't have "pre-existing ideas" before she was named to the high court? What balderdash.

So far it looks like she's got her puppet (Chuckie Schooma) making all the noise. I'm anxious for her to go on record with similar statements and demands as Schooma has already made.

"Unfortunately, the people who are being appointed to the courts all too often have a pre-existing idea of what they're going to decide," she complains.Hmm...I though that was what libs expected of court picks?

Guess Ms. Clinton's move to the middle has stalled! :)
Just think some Freepers on here were ready to vote for her because of her rhetoric on immigration like every thing out of mouth was the truth. If this doesn't convince every last person on this website that Ms. Clinton is a liar and just flat out evil to be scaring people about President Bush's nominees who believe their responsibility is to interpret the law not make new law, then they are on the wrong site.

Does anyone in the Republican leadership think it would be interesting to dispel the myth that the majority of Republicans were opposed to Civil Rights legislation in the 60's?
More Republicans than Democrats voted FOR the Civil Rights Act.
The Republican PR machine needs to do a better job and they should start making commercials about this matter, to counter Hitlery's outrageous lies.

What was it, exactly, that Bubba stood for and was able to accomplish? I forget...

It annoys me that the Democrats forever try to cover over their history. The Democratic Party is the slavery party, the Jim Crow party, the party of lynchings, firehoses, race repression and race obsession.
The Republican Party is what it has always been, the party of color-blind citizenship. We have not changed, we are right where we have always been.
The Democrats have a lot to answer for, and they mostly answer for it by re-writing history. If I had their history, I'd do the same thing.
