Just breaking now on Sky.
"The suspect then calmly left the rucksack behind, jumped on the tracks and walked away down the line, said Mr Moyo. "
Given I have a CPL, and carry a .357. here in the states I'd have made certain he wasn't walking as he tried to leave. I'd at least made it so he'd be easy to find. the detectives could follow the blood trail.
"It was not clear what the suspect's injuries were."
He's dead, Jim.
Be safe if you take the subway today.
Well said, Ivan.
Always.
You too.
That doesn't explain what private citizens building a mosque has to do with "accomodating islam".
You seem to be ill informed, jimbo. The threat in America is just as bad if not worse. We've managed to break up some cells and had some success, but if you think we don't have extremist imams preaching hate and terror in the U.S., then you're in for a rude awakening. Our swamp is just as bad.
According to the eyewitness reports

It sounds like they wanted to make very very sure that he didn't trigger any bombs.
"He half tripped... they pushed him to the floor and basically unloaded five shots into him,"
But he [Turki] added: ''It is not going to stop these terrorists....''
Of course it won't. It's a lifestyle choice. Who the hell thinks these guys are just going to lay down the hatchet & get a real job? When they can live outside the law, outside the tax system, sleep 'til noon, account to no one...
OPINION-SPECULATION: It could be that Mr. Moyo didn't react real quick because he was shocked and didn't quite understand what he was seeiing. That happens sometimes.

I wish all good citizens had a concealed/carry permit.
Makes the world a safer place.
Yeah, but somedays I wonder if they can regard us as one of their true allies when I listen to our clueless twits.
While I admit that is misleading and it might be a media attempt at being PC (gag me!), technically most of the Middle East is on the continent of Asia.
I don't see the point in the media being squeamish about saying "Middle Eastern" instead of "Asian," but then again, if I understood the media's collective thought process, I'd be very worried.
Some people just don't realize that there is more to Asia than China and the far east. Pakistan is in Asia.
in a british context 'asian' means pakistani, indian or banghladeshi. ie: brown.
other asians would probably be described as either 'chinese' or arab/olive skinned.
Makes sense to me. Here in the States they'd probably have read him his rights.
"'e's not dead. 'e's just restin'. Prolly tired and shagged out after a long squawk."

"Asian" generally means from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh in the UK. If they meant far eastern, they'd have said "chinese looking"
LOL! They'd have been too busy searching the pocketbook of an 85 year old white woman.
Thanks, copied & will pass on to others.
