Having spent 6+ years in the USAF as a weapons specialist (IYAAYAS), I know a bit about explosives and weapons. If I witnessed a bombing I would help the injured. If I witnessed strange sounding low-order explosion, more like a thump than a bang, I would run upwind as fast as I could for as long as I could. Low-order explosions are THE way to spread bio/chem weapons. I don't think that is the case in London, it sounds more like bad bomb making to me.

Yesterday on my bus there was a young Middle Eastern man who I'd never seen before. He was reading something in Arabic - not a book, just printed sheets of paper. Suddenly the idea of wearing a helemet didn't seem so ridiculous. :-) But I'll say this - if I see some young Middle Eastern man get on my bus with a backpack, or heavily dressed on a hot day, reeking of cologne, I'm getting off.

This attack, whatever its intent, might well backfire on the muslims. It's going to make the British more angry than afraid.

Whereas the British were welcome and tolerant of muslims in the country, the muslims probably have worn out their welcome. It's going to be much more difficult for them in the future.
