Is it a coincedence that Al Qaeda asked for Britains surrender ealier this week? (I remember responding to a thread post on FR about the very same topic!)

A small device onajihadist imans cell phone would make his head pop. a la "Scanners" without a huge collateral problem, but with an instructive effect on his congregants. "Pop, pop, fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is!"
If raiding works, fine, but after a certain point, their violence must be met with more than writs, and three hots and a cot!

Sounds like they didn't get the right acetone/peroxide mixture, ingredients readily available to anyone. Of course they are still terrorist attacks and regardless of what the media says most people see it for what it is. Also understand the media also has to be careful of not causing hysteria in the populace which they could easily do. Imagine the mass hysteria that could be generated by irresponsible journalism. Most people can read between the lines without causing the soccer thugs to riot although at certain times that may not be a bad idea.

Interesting...London police saying they are seeking "an unknown numbers of suspects"...
And BTW- they guy with the wires sticking out of his head (perhaps he was hired for comic relief?) is being looked for in the hospital area..cordoned entire area off..

I am getting a bit tired of the word "incident."
I would vary my language since just the caps went off, but I would still call it a terrorist attack at times since that is what it is even if it failed.
In its denotative meaning, incident does not have a minimized meaning, but its connotation is that of just a minor inconvenience.

"At least there are no dust storms in Chicago."No dust storms here, just lots of dust bunnies. The ones in my house roll around like tumbleweeds. You can hear them comin', they're so big. I don't mess with them. They're common thugs.

LOL!!!
Actually that's the same advice I was given in my first few weeks here ... it took me a few times being called a "troll" before I finally caught on.
Yeah, he'll be gone soon.
Actually, he'd be gone by now but he is supporting the views of several people here and they are welcoming him with open arms.

Jane is right. The Muslims doing this are a tiny minority.

No, blanket accusations do not help. However, I can understand their indignation. I feel it myself, and then try to remember that passion and emnity still doesn't provide a solution.

Hmm. They bomb our churches all over the world (Christians are fair game in the Middle East), yet we're supposed to hold Mecca as sacred? I don't think so. No one is saying let's go bomb Mecca without provocation, not even Tancredo. Sometimes, you have to do something enormous to get someone's attention--as was the case with Hiroshima.
