Who knows what he's saying is true or not, one way or the other. I think he was guarding his words carefully.
If he's a government employee, I don't blame him. This case is riddled with Dutch and Arubian politics......and a lot of the cast of characters have been and are tiptoeing through the tulips.

Ditto.
I watched the segment last night and my take on his response was that he didn't notice the hair on the tape when he first picked it up. I could be wrong, but that's what I got out of that answer as I was watching the segment.
As far as his behavior on camera, it was almost as though he was paying attention to someone off camera. He was looking away and grinning at times. Not sure what to make of that, if anything. Either way I didn't hear a whole lot of new information from that segment.
I wonder if the locals are all afraid of the polis.
It's not worth it to compare transcripts. Her MB friends statements are so evasive they add more confusion than clarity. Why Greta includes a segment interviewing them is beyond me.
Like I said I think they have been advised to clam up.
Hmmm, vy plausible.
Understandable, but why choose to appear on TV at all?
Good question. I don't know. The ranger is a low level worker in the system. Maybe he is being cautioned not to say too much. His story didn't change a whole lot from the clips I saw on Sunday and Monday until he spoke with Greta last night. He said he found while doing his routine work (he used a different description, can't recall it right now) and did not indicate that he received a 'tip' to go look there.
Then who's floating the story that there was an anonymous tip??
On Sunday the word tip was used several times. It has since changed based on interviews by this ranger. MSNBC and FOX both at one time used the term 'tip', but are not using it anymore.
One word describes all of these rumors and inuendoes ,
SUSPICIOUS
everything Aruba authorities want us to hear sounds suspicous.
The word coverup comes to mind again and again.
I just rewatch his interview on Greta from off my Tivo and he never said he did not see any hair. He even described the hair as being 2 toned. He was acting odd because he did not understand some of Greta's questions and had her repeat at least one of them.
This guy is an expert in the use of "layered voice analysis" which is said to be much better at detecting lies than the standard lie detector test. I don't know if it is admissible in an Aruban court, but it can certainly be used to pressure the suspects.
Well I'm kinda curious, since the Kalpoe's (and their mommie dearest) claim to be so innocent, why didn't they jump at the chance to give their DNA and prove it? Why did the court have to order them? Inquiring minds want to know....Does ALE have something to compare DNA with or are they running a bluff (7 weeks late)?
Was Greta's question something along the lines of "Did you notice the hair? Was it hard to see?". Seems like I remember him saying that it wasn't hard to see because it shiny and silver. (Trying to remember) Seems like he misunderstood the question.
I know it was said this weekend by Jug that a PI had been hired but he didn't say who it was. I hope this move will provide them with more information than they are getting now. A PI would ensure that this is actually BEING investigated. It's hard to tell what has been going on so far.
Thank you for checking this out.
