Yeah. Usually, though, everybody knows who the pick will be before the official announcement, as with a vice-president selection and such. That's what I thought was happening this time. But then Bush pushed the announcement into prime time and now the speculation is even wilder.
Something's up... a feint of some sort. Could be a surprise pick. The evening news will be over by the time we find out.

Well stated. None of us agrees with anyone 100%. Some people just enjoy complaining and bitching. It's their nature. They have more in common with the rigid left. Life is a compromise. We're fortunate to have a president that we agree with(and spouses) 70% of the time.
On the important issues, such as National Security, Bush is the Best. How about tax relief? How about decency, honesty, love of this country and it's people? He has appointed some of the most talented to defend and serve our country. What more can we want? Hillary?
Sounds like they already stuck a microphone in the wifes face....and the kids are dressed nicely? Does that mean they're wearing shoes? But it makes sense! He's presiding over a case today...til what? 5pm? Then they have to rush over to the white house for dinner and then the big announcement! There's no time to go home and change, clean up the ratty kids, etc. It just has to be him!! Yes, I see it now!
Now you sound like the Senate 'Rats. The President is not only very capable of selecting a nomination all by himself, that's what he's going to do, and he frankly couldn't care less what you, Senator Reid, Box-O-Rox, Rush Limbaugh or anyone else thinks. He is the President, and it's his call.

It is not a joke to a lot of people. Many of the very same people who think the President must not try to appease the liberals with the ideology of his pick, see nothing wrong with him making gender an important factor. I am just pointing out the incongruency.
