Cheeze and crackers, I was hoping a shower or two might do it for me. Of course, one never knows. If the chicks and cats and squirrels start running away, I might get some of that Tag...or not.

I am actually a hermit...I would enjoy the space and freedom. If I could only cut the crowd by 80%...I just need one cat, one squirrel and one chick. All the rest are superfluous.

Aruban police have jailed youth retrace steps in search for Natalee Holloway

ORANJESTAD, Aruba Police in Aruba have taken a jailed Dutch teen back to the beach where he says he last saw Natalee Holloway.

The Alabama teenager has been missing since the early hours of May 30th.

Police have taken Joran van der Sloot to the site near the Marriott Hotel where he has admitted to being alone with the 18-year-old girl.

The detained teenager currently faces no charges. Authorities can hold him until September fourth, when he must be charged or released.

Dave Holloway had conversation with the PVDS and AVDS today. Dave stated that AVDS told him that Joran wanted to talk with him, however PVDS spoke up and said that Joran would talk to Dave Holloway after the case was concluded.

Beth told Geraldo that the DEA agent that was with her when they first went to the VDS's home on 5/30 was never asked to give a statement.

The first clue I had regarding Joran was when he blamed his mother for his problem. A second tip was his reply to Beth, "What do you want me to do about it?"
One of the attributes of the sociopath is an inability to recognize his own error. The sociopath can lie, swindle, and abuse, and never really understand why everybody gets so worked up about it. Without the capacity to feel pain, the sociopath injures himself and others and totally ignores it. He makes mistakes and goes on as if nothing happened. Other symptoms include impulsiveness, irritability, aggressiveness, recklessness and remorselessness.

This must have been why Beth KNEW Natalee had been KIDNAPPED.

Good analysis, this comment in particular. While I know some here disagree, I never quite thought Beth's first reaction (absent other evidence) would be that Natalee was kidnapped.

I will have to back and read that transcript again but I remember having a sense after that interview that the Twitty's met up with Croes before the police.

So, I have to wonder, who is Croes ;)

I just went back and read the Croes interview again. It's so chopped up. It sounds like he met with Beth first and then they decided to continue the meeting at the HI. He made his decisions to check out a couple of things on his way to the HI and figured out it was Joran. They then went to the Police station. I wonder if Beth had been in contact with the Police before that.

It certainly seems like that. I wonder if someone tipped them off that this suspect had police/justice dept. connections. They did have at least one member of LE when they finally went to the VDS home, though, didn't they?

Croes has the cell phone business, we suspect he is connected to CIA or something.

He is dreamy and has a following of groupies, me for one. Although Trapperburg is cute too. Croes, known as the divine CC, is very dangerous looking. I suspect he is armed and works for the good guys. He is in other words, very hot.
