"Nationwide, the researchers found, 22.7 percent of all births in 2002 were to foreign-born women. The study also found that the mothers were increasingly likely to be in the United States illegally and lack a high school education, two factors experts say make it more difficult for their children to succeed in the U.S."

So many future voters to woo. Is it no wonder that neither party will do anything to curb this tidel wave of illegal immigration? We have to take our country back before its too late.

"So many future voters to woo..."

They are Americans. Why should they not be represented by our elected officials just as you are? Would you prefer to lose elections just for the pleasure of insulting them?

When we have reached the point where 32% of the births in a given state are to illegal mothers, is already _is_ "too late", sad to say.

Regrettably, there is little, or nothing, that can be done. The _only_ legal way to prevent the newborns of illegal immigrants from automatically being American citizens would be to change the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution, and that will never happen. Thus, as soon as they emerge from the womb, they are "citizens".

The Republicans won't do anything to stop it.

The Democrats won't do anything to stop it.

In the words of the late George Wallace [speaking of the major political parties], "there ain't a dime's worth of difference between 'em".

The only possible solution I can see is a "local" one. That is to say, folks in the "illegal deluged" states who decry the situation must "vote with their feet", i.e., move from the illegal deluged states into those states that remain [relatively] "illegal-free", and use whatever political influence they may have to persuade the governments of those few remaining states to enact laws and policies that are "illegal-unfriendly". Hopefully, this will persuade the illegal invaders to settle in the illegal-friendly states.

The incentives that attract the illegals to the illegal-friendly states remind me of that great line from the film "Field of Dreams": "if you build it, he will come". So it goes with benefits: PROVIDE them, and "they" will come. DON'T provide them, and the would-be "consumers" of the benefits will go elsewhere. Let it be someone else's problem (hopefully, the blue states!).

There really isn't much else that can be done, at this point. It's not that things couldn't be set right. But - to do so at this late date - would require policies too draconian for the overwhelming majority of Americans to accept or stomach.

That time in which "to take our country back before its too late" came - and passed - a long time ago. We _let_ it pass. By "we" I mean Americans of the Euopean/Christian cultural heritage. Our white/Christian guilt - and the resulting "fear of opprobrium" if we dare say or do anything to protect our culture and heritage - has done us in.
