1. Secure the borders.
2. Enforce the laws on the books and deport all illegal aliens.
3. Insist on proof of citizenship before accepting children of illegal immigrants into public schools and then do #2 above.
4. Fine employers who hire illegal aliens and then do #2
5. Stop giving free healthcare to illegals (passport or proof of citizenship required for services)
6. Proof of citizenship or driver's license required at the voting booth
These are just a few things that I suggest. I know of no other effective way to stem the tide other than to take legal and drastic measures.
