We men are weak and I am a man therefore I am weak. If I were married and say Natalie Portman wanted to have romp, I don't know what I would do. What guy in their right mind wouldn't be at least tempted or succumb to temptions to take her up on her proposition? I not sure I would through away marriage for a piece, but thankfully most of us will never have to make that decision. We simply don't travel in those circles, and thank God for that. I would die of hypoxia living in the moral vacuum they who are famous live in.

The Tour is about as interesting as a chess match -- which is to say the 'visuals' are usually not that compelling. So this guy is upset that the camera finds a reasonably attractive woman who happens to be the girlfriend of the wearer of the yellow jersey?

I don't mind looking at Cheryl from time to time, but the interviews are a waste.

I don't think she's particularly great. Her remake of "The First Cut is the Deepest" is a huge stinking pile of steamy excrement. If that is an example of her talent, she must have paid her dues on her back to get to where she is today.

Sheryl Crow = the Linda McCartney/Yoko Ono of the cycling world, but like Paul and John, Lance's talent has not fallen prey to the cheesy woman in his life.

I wonder if Sheryl will hang around once Lance retires from high profile racing and is no longer in the media spotlight.

She said she's gonna "keep him on as a stage hand!" Can you imagine a real icon of sport who reached a higher level than anyone ever before dragging equipment around for a questionable talent who's whole career includes one semi-hit song?

In her defense (not that I like her) while she is a so-so musician, she is a good businesswoman, and made the early push to cross from rock into country as the Blitzy Chicks were moving from country to rock; thus broadening her fan base.

Lance's book It's not about the bike makes it plain that the main lady in his life has been his mother. He has never had a healthy father/son relationship, with either the sperm donor who begat, than deserted him, or the stepfather.

Darrel Green, an erudite pastor in in our denomination played for 20 years on the Washington Redskins, including four years during which he carried the title "The world's fastest man." Darrel reports that no professional athletes he's met have good relationships with their father.

It must take an awful lot of hurtin' to drive a man that hard.

In cycling, as far back as I can remember, here in the USA, it's always been the 'peloton'.

What seems to some like just a bunch of riders riding in a line, is the best team dynamic for dealing with wind resistance, and the efficient use of human resources.

Requiring intense concentration and awareness, I can assure you it's much harder than it looks.
