The Schiavo Autopsy Results: Terri Dailies July 6
Accuracy in Media-Media Monitor ^ | July 6, 2005 | Cliff Kincaid

Several bloggers have drawn attention to a strange lead in a Washington Post story about the Terri Schiavo autopsy results. The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said…"

As Wampus SC notes, they are identical. Lefties in disguise, freeper sleepers, and the amateur tag team marathon here yesterday all read from the same sheet of music, it appears. Not a drop of originality to be seen anywhere, just the same tired mantras. But then they have to swarm back to the caves to refresh their mantras and get new slogans from the playbooks, and come back.

Their single drive is to stop the growing dismay at the Terri atrocity, by badgering you may see on this thread, personal attacks, or repeating of the same old saws enough so that somehow they become truth.

Truth has no meaning to them and argument is what they seek. They care not of the argument per se, but only the effects their words have. Words to them are tools, while words to us have meaning.

In a way, this is not so bad, because their constant posts keep the subject right up front despite their opposite intent. Resonable people can spot the stark contrast between their mean intent and that of us with eyes open.

The legacy of Terri grows.

Others have already pointed out to you what I would have said, so I'm not going to bother rehashing those points. But I will address another issue.

You said: You don't like the outcome, so all the judges must be corrupt. I'm sure that makes sense to you.

I did not say that all judges are corrupt. I said that there are corrupt judges everywhere, which is not the same. This case was just one of many where someone's rights were trampled (in this case, lethally) by a corrupt judge. Hardly a week goes by where I don't hear about some other judge(s) giving an outrageous judgement and/or imposing some new restriction on our autonomy and liberty. The recent Supreme Court decision that private property may now be confiscated by anyone who wants to develop it in the name of "the public good" is an example. May I suggest reading Mark Levin's Men in Black for a good accounting of how out-of-control the judiciary has become.

BTW, if you think that hearsay testimony was good enough evidence on which to condemn Terri Schindler to death, may you never be arrested for robbing a convenience store when the only evidence against you is the testimony of the gang members who were loitering outside the store.

Ping to a powerful Empire Journal article. If I am pinging a lot lately, once again, a lot is happening. To the annoyance of the move on crowd, The Terri legacy grows.

Nurse: Schiavo Blood Chemistry Indicates Possible Strangulation

I wish we could copy the whole article right here but we cannot, so hopefully you all will read it.

I am too. I think that many have been in similar situations and let their loved one die and now have to do it (be for her murder) so they don't feel guilty that they might have made a mistake (not saying they did in their particular situation)

Just read your link.

" I went down to get her. I thought, Well, maybe she just tripped or whatever. I rolled her over and she was lifeless. And it almost seems like she had this last breath. So I held her in my arms, and I'm trying to shake her up. "

Too bad that doesn't jive with what the paramedics found. She was laying on her stomach, face to the side and her hands clenched under her chest. (kinda like you might if someone was on top of you) I can't for the life of me understand how they could not see that something bad happened. I can GUARANTEE you that if if was in Terri's situation and my hubby found me, I would NOT still be laying on my face. Oh!! That's right! He put her right back in the same position.

There must be more in that category than we might realize. At least one of the people "on the other side" at Pinellas Park even sort of confessed that was his motivation. We have seen a few posting these threads who so much as admitted that is why they are on the wrong side.

yep I agree. I could not in any way condone what was done to Terri even if it had happened in my family. Every situation is different. Some may have had a loved one who was dying (Terri was certainly not) and not far from death. I think they carry guilt for what happened to their family member. I am probably not making much sense here (not enough java yet)

There is a lot of medical language in that article, so reader beware! And be ready to spend some time. It is a long read. But to the determined student, it is enlightening as to what might or might not have caused Terri's "collapse."

We don't have all the medical records we need, but the ones we have dispose of a lot of nonsense.

For the record: there is NOTHING in Terri's medical data or in the Autopsy Report that rules out strangulation. On the contrary, several blood abnormalities strongly suggest strangulation as the cause of her cardiac arrest.

I kind of like this one (one of the proofs of strangulation that the ME must have): The inability of the Victim to ESCAPE the asphyxiating position must be explained.

Michael was a foot taller and twice Terri's weight. If he got on her back, she didn't have a chance.

Why would we think he got on her back? (a) The position she was found, face down, arms under her reaching up to her throat; (b) the bone bruise on her right femur; (c) the compression fracture of her spine (and damage to nearby ribs). (It is unusual for ribs to be injured from behind the body.)

MS may well have pinned her down with his knees, one on her back, one on her right leg, causing the damage from (b) and (c). That leaves both hands and both forearms free for a choke hold.

and why erring on the side of life is "extremist" are identical to the talking points used by the WPPFF's, Turkeys (or whatever they're called) for the past two years.

That's a lie. And if you say it's true, prove it.

Get your information correct before you post something. Oh what am I thinking, that's never mattered before, so why start now.

unbalanced

I am glad you are here and I thank you for bringing up such an important issue. Please read the above threads and link by syriacus. And read the article by the Empire Journal. It will help you even more to be fair. It is good to get as much info out as possible.

Another source, from a district attorney's office. Written by experienced police investigators and physicians. This manual for prosecutors shows that strangulation is far more common in domestic violence than previously believed. That's crucial information because domestic violence is the #1 cause of injury and death in young women.

Not saying I fully agree with everything in the law but at least it's handled in the manner as Hamilton suggested. After the fact. And as long as it's not passed at a federal level

And I want to thank you and 8mmMauser for well reasoned debate.
