July 6, 2005 -- A racist ex-con confessed that he fatally stabbed a beloved mother of two at a White Plains mall because he wanted "to kill a white person." "She was not innocent. She was white," convicted rapist Phillip Grant confessed in a chilling videotaped statement to cops that was played in White Plains City Court yesterday — the same day victim Concetta Russo Carriero was laid to rest.
The 43-year-old homeless man told cops he had never laid eyes on Russo Carriero, 56, before he stabbed her in the chest twice last Wednesday on the seventh level of the Galleria mall garage.
"All I knew was she had blond hair and blue eyes, and she had to die . . . I didn't care, as long as she was white," he said.
"I wanted to kill someone who represented the white lifestyle."

I used to live in Morris Park - sort of like Howard Beach neighborhood.
I am sick of these thugs. The cops need to stop giving BS tickets and needs to start throwing a beating to these thugs who infest the shopping areas.
That happened approximately the same time as a local white shooter who targeted minorities. That POS killed five, including a Jewish woman neighbor that he targeted because she was Jewish, a black, and two Asians. He also shot at a synagogue.
Both these guys are in jail for life. They were both convicted, I can't remember if the white guy got the death penalty or not. In any case, they'll never get out of jail.
Reminds me of Chris Rock's old dictum about their being two types of malls: the mall where white people shop and the mall where white people USED TO shop.

Where my parents live in South Florida, they effectively banned certain headgear and throw out groups of teens that loiter without shopping. This has kept the thug element at bay, although Town Center (Boca Raton) is a mirror image of Wastechester, Yenta clientele and all.

Grant said he was prepared to die for killing Concetta Russo Carriero, a legal secretary who worked at a law firm across the street.
"It's not about the woman. It's not about rape. It's not about nothing of that," he said.
"There's a lot of white people that really need to die. I don't give a f - - - what public opinion is about that. They can go f - - - themselves. These people are sick, and they are getting away with it.
"I can't be around white people. I'm scared of white people," he added. "They forced me into a position where I'm racist.
"It was not a criminal motive. I'm really, really fighting a war on being attacked," he said.
Asked if he would kill again, Grant answered yes.
"My only regret is that I didn't have the means to do more," he said.

Lawyers and psychiatrists say it's not infrequent for individuals to commit murder as a means of suicide, as in the case of Daniel Colwell in Georgia. He wants to die in the electric chair.
Mr. Colwell admits he shot and killed two people at random in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Americus, Ga. He told a jury he never had the courage to kill himself, but hoped the state would now fulfill his death wish by executing him.
At his 1998 trial, Colwell, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and other mental problems, was found competent to direct his own defense. He pleaded guilty to the murders. He boasted about the slayings to the jury. He threatened jurors and their families if they did not recommend a death sentence. The jury obliged.
My cousin was one of those jurists.
"He threatened jurors"..Well, he told them he would hunt each of them down and kill every one of them if they didn't give him the death penalty.
And he didn't pick two people out at random. He picked out an elderly white couple because he thought he would certainly be put to death for that.
I truly believe we should impress these thugs into the military.

To minority racists like this POS, blond, blue-eyed women are the enemy to be scorned and rediculed as the symbol of "evil whitey." My daughter has run into this when she was in elementary school. The ethnic kids would not play with her because she was blond and blue-eyed.
In the case of the cadet murders, the girl that "had to die" was a blond blue-eyed girl.

It's great to see two guys from the old neighborhood here on this site...I'm originally from Mt. Vernon, NY but both my Parents were from the Bronx ... (Morgan Ave/Gun Hill Road and Dyre Ave.) ... I used to shop/eat at that Mall when I worked In White Plains back in the 90's. I never felt threatened or concerned, but jeez, things sure do change don't they?
