If Bush nominates Gonzalez, that is the last straw for me.

Ditto. If that happens, I'm officially an ex-Bush supporter.

As someone that has stood his conservative ground and voted his conscience instead of a party the last three major elections, I don't care if it is your last straw. Either put up and get out of the one party system, or keep walking into the booth and pull down the straight ticket like all the other partisan followers. Either way quit talking about it and do something.
The only thing I can't stand worse than the Republican faithful are those that keep telling everyone how if this happens or that happens, it will be 'the last straw'. Only to do nothing about it after it happens. Exactly how many 'last straws' is this for you and the others that will post the same thing on this thread?
You know full well the man will nominate a moderate, everyone will call them a conservative, and consider it a 'win' for conservatism. You're not going to have an actual constructionist on the Court like Scalia or Thomas. Nope, either a party follower or a moderate hack. Either way it's a loss. Apparently considering their past history, except for Scalia and Thomas, it's about the only thing Republicans are good at anymore.

Stop lying. You and some of the other third party/Buchananite bitter losers have always hated President Bush guts. Stop making threats (last straw crap, etc...) because your opinion about President Bush and the GOP is so meaningless.

Bush is NOT going to nominate Gonzales -- if he had plans for that, he would not have put him in as Attorney General.
Will some of you stop this doom and gloom and think positively for a change.
