I have no dog in this fight among you-I am NOT pointing fingers.
Perhaps it would help everyone get along better if someone were to post a daily update on the facts in the case, for example using Red letters and a larger font.. title it : UPDATE... then links or commentary. And then the conversation could flow as long and people looking for updates could be directed to the post # with the update.
If they are here to troll you or just pick a fight,then one or two people could ask them to go and everyone else just ignore them.
People looking for facts could just read that post and others could continue along.
I don't follow these cases very much- BUT I am interested in updates... and when I get here I only see infighting and some people acting like children.
I used to follow cases- so I understand some of the motivation to have to look at different angles and discuss it with other people.
I would like to remind people that y'all are discussing two families who have been ruined- and a young woman is more than likely dead.
IMO- there is a way to make everyone comfortable without forgetting how short and fragile life is.
Just my .02- Freep on everyone.
One flaw I see in this approach is the sometimes fast-breaking changes in this story. Every time one of these consequential changes occurs, if there is not another "update" posted, the update you suggest could quickly become irrelevant in that it could be missing major info.
To make it work, seems like someone would have to repost update posts with old new info, new new info and breaking new info, all in one, and the post would get longer and longer and longer each time. Either that, or there would be multiple update posts to which you would have to direct people.
I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something.
