One flaw I see in this approach is the sometimes fast-breaking changes in this story. Every time one of these consequential changes occurs, if there is not another "update" posted, the update you suggest could quickly become irrelevant in that it could be missing major info.

To make it work, seems like someone would have to repost update posts with old new info, new new info and breaking new info, all in one, and the post would get longer and longer and longer each time. Either that, or there would be multiple update posts to which you would have to direct people.

I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something.

No, those are valid points I am sure. I guess I didn't realize the case was moving along so fast.

I am sure there is some soulition tho- I guess separate threads for different purposes wouldn't be the answer either.

I don't know what the PTB would think of a new daily thread, so it would be easier to know whe

Where to begin every day.. seems like a lot of work as well.

What if someone posts in large letters: MONDAY ( whatever day it is) around 12:00am (or whatever time) like the last person to turn off the lights just marks the end of the day or the first person up marks the start of the day. What about that?
