Goodness, maggiefluffs, I just read where Fox News said that the Natalee Holloway's case is no longer and search and rescue, it is not now a search and recovery!

I hope and pray she is still alive, but this misinformation has got to stop. Can you shed a little more light on the rumor/report that she may still be alive?

Wishful thinking is driving the rumor that Natalee is still alive, because I don't believe there is any real evidence to indicate this. Let's hope it's true, however.

YESTERDAY a man was taken for interrogation from savaneta....
THIS MORNING 6am....a boy of intials SGC (bron 1978) was taken into custody with relations to the case...we still have no EXACT info why but they took him this morning, and TOP95 say that they have high suspicions that NH is alive.......they will be back on in about an hour i belive

From what I have gathered Natalee's parents had some input on the planning or suggestion to this trip. They had been there a couple or several times before. Natalee's stepbrother's senior trip was to Aruba 2 years ago.

If you or anyone else is going to hold the facilitators (chaperones) accountable, then one must hold the parents accountable and unfortunately if Natalee was not forced into the vehicle, then she should be held accountable. It is easy to point fingers at others. None of us were there, we do not know the facts of what transpired at this point. But for the # of facilitators compared to the # of students (which was known to the parents) it would be quite a difficult task.

My wife and I are long time avid scuba divers. Mostly, we go to Cozumel now because the diving is great and it is a short flight from Houston. We have been all over the Caribbean and were considering a trip to Aruba in the future. My wife has friends who have a place there. Now, we wont be going. Ever.
