Yes, this is an horrific ordeal for Natalee's family. They have become part of an "exclusive club, to which no one would ever want to belong"...as Mark Klass and John Walsh call it.

I pray for the Holloway and Twitty families every night. For all those who love Natalee, and all who are searching for her. They say the worst part is the not knowing.

Hopefully, the knowledge Natlee's mother seeks will come tomorrow.

Perhaps the interview with Joran's father has borne fruit.

I think if the FReepers here can find out all this info - dangerous - on Aruba WHY didn't the chaperones check it out for SAFETY BEFORE they went on their trip. Mostly for the young girls.

I think us Americans are way too lax - we just think sun and fun. I include myself in that, also. I certainly got an education tonight and thanks to all for their work.

I think Scott must have known that Lacey's family would give it all the attention in the world, and that he would be suspected by the police. That is why he TRIED to contrive an alibi. He could not have suspected that Fox News, CNN and other Media would go so crazy over the story.

As for these criminals on Aruba, they are in a tighter spot than Scott Peterson, in a way, in that there is no way a young high school girl from America on the Island for a Senior Trip, is going to be allowed to be murdered or kidnapped or whatever and not a huge spotlight be shining on that Island and surrounding areas day and night until what happened to her is revealed. People saw who she was with. There were witnesses.

Van der Sloot and the brothers know the heat is on them. If they cannot explain what happened to Natalee, then they at least have to throw suspicion on others, and if that does not pan out, then the suspicion goes right back to them. They have important family connections, friends, associates, etc. who come under the glare of the spotlight. And if someone they barely know, but have had some kind of interaction with, has taken Natalee, those connections will be pursued, too.

If anyone thought this would be some kind of anonymous crime, in that very public situation, in such a confined set of circumstances with witnesses, to boot, they were very stupid.

There is no "pizzazz" in spinning out secondary stories involving Blake or Jackson any more; they may get mentioned dutifully now and then, but consider that FOX, and especially Van Susteren and her show have been virtually OBSESSED every single day with the minutiae of the Peterson and Jackson trial,the Schiavo case, and now the Natalee Holloway disappearance, it would seem incumbent on them to hope and pray for another juicy story before the current ones are laid to rest.

I saw on another board that Natalee's father was in Venezuela I think yesterday. Beth's mother-in-law was there today at the church service with Beth.

Also read that there are people who seem to be rotating being there on Aruba, from their hometown.

The people involved sure picked the wrong American girl to mess with. After all the recent kidnappings here, we are just not going to sit by and let our children come to harm or disappear without beating down every door ourselves. Mothers like Natalee's mom are going to fight, and have a whole country behind her. I hope she holds up. Bless her and give her all the courage she needs now.

Sorry... It has been a long day. I had a house full of family and friends from 1pm to 12am Saturday (the last ones just left). If you are still up - what went on today? (just a brief run down)

She asks who do you think is moving Natalie and is he saying that he thinks she is alive? He says yes, of course. We are going in a group of 2 ladies, 3 gentlemen. One gentlemen knows a person who knows how to deal with drugs (not from Aruba) maybe from Venezuela or Columbia. The plan was to drive Natalee to columbia, but the latest news we have right now is that because the plan has failed 3 times already, they may try to reach Columbia before Venezuela. She asked what kind of condition he thinks she is in.

This story keeps getting weirder and weirder. The cloak & daggar stuff by regular folks sure is unusual. If this news is true, I hope Natalee is still alive and can manage to stay alive until rescued.
