In one of the most incredible displays of gall I've seen in a long time,a Progressive contributor to Reuters has "just discovered" what Red China and their Islamist Sudanese counterparts have known for years: There's a LOT of oil in Darfur !
The Chinese have set up a virtual colony in this part of Sudan,and have been supplying the Sudanese government with heavy weapons so they can evict the native Africans from their oil-rich homelands.
This eviction has led to over 87,000 deaths,and has included rape,arson, looting,starvation,beatings,and cold-blooded murder.
I'm not sure whether the author is ignorant or simply arrogant. Perhaps a combination of both ?

The United States is a Christian nation, and it would be immoral for a Christian nation with the power which God has given us to allow Christians anywhere in this world to be treated the way Christians and other non-slammites are being treated in Sudan. Therefore, until all persecution of Christians and other minority groups in Sudan ceases, American submarines will be patrolling the waters off of Sudan with orders to sink any ship attempting to load oil from Sudan. You may wish to consult a map of Africa, before sending out our subs to patrol Sudan's coast. I can just see the reaction of the world's 1 billion muslims to the idea that we are patrolling near Mecca in support of an overtly Christian mission.
